Minecraft Name: dork1877 Suggestion: I would like to add someone to help with my shop. One additional person with perms to the shop. Reason: Sharing the workload of maintaining a shop would encourage other to participate in the fun of owning and maintaining one. For example my Right Honorable Friend NAVYSEALS2000 helps me out with my shop, tweaking prices, suggesting placements and such. I would really like it if I could give him permissions, to make changes to the storefront. Another example would be when I started I would have loved to have had a mentor to work with. I asked people (_TANS) a lot of questions but day to day operations would have been helpful to learn as well. Other Information: I feel that this is probably a long shot because it becomes a security risk for someone to add someone they think they trust who end up stealing their money or goods. It may be a long shot, but I still would like to make it. Link to this plugin: N/A
I disagree. If you really wanted to, you could buy a premium shop and save the hassle for other people by giving them areas of your shop. Though if you were able to add one person like in the application: "Who will be your helper? (Note they cannot make signs or sell items, and should they put up a trade sign they will be removed without notice as well the sign, N/A if no helper):"
yeah, think of the shop as a tiny town. shop 'owners' are really just members of the town. That's why you aren't able to add anyone else to the shop, you are not an official owner of the region. If there was a 2nd member of the shop, you both would have build and destroy rights, but you still couldn't break each other's locks.
This suggestion has me on the fence... Although I do not own a spawn market shop, I would like the ability to add someone for help - either during the application process, or via another application at a later time. However, sign creation, money distribution, disputes, inactivity on the owner's end (i.e, helper losing their things if shop isn't renewed), et cetera could become a hassle and a problem. If this were to become implemented, it would need some more rules written, guidelines, and so on. Or, in other words: It needs to be as "fool proof" as possible, to avoid too much drama.
