Minecraft Username: iTzXtremeGaming Reason of Ban: Loan Scamming Rule violated: Clause 2 - Scamming A general definition of a scam in the context of EcoCityCraft is a transaction in which a user pays for goods or services from another user, and does not receive those goods/services in the agreed upon timeframe. Failing to uphold your end of the deal is scamming, and is punishable by a ban. Your continuance on the server may rely on you following through with your end of the deal, or refunding what you scammed, solely at the staff’s discretion. Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: The rule means to follow through with your end of the deal. Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I've had a massive conversation with Dewsy, who will probably be dealing with my appeal, i would like to apologise to everyone that got scammed and there money will be refunded as soon as possible, i've been off the server a couple of days now and its made me realise how much i miss it, i would do anything to get back on. I did not mean to hurt anyone, just to get out of debt alittle more, i apologise to everyone and this won't happen again.
I have a question, it is relevant. My understanding is that all of @caliki123's debt/ scams are traced down to @iTzXtremeGaming. I gave Caliki a loan of 35k for 55k return, does this mean that @iTzXtremeGaming pays me back? PS. I have evidence of the transaction.
Vintage, i will pm you ingame when im back on. I believe that is what will be happening since everything that happened on my brothers account is getting put to me -.-
Oh I see. Well, shoot me a PM and we shall get things sorted. You have 1 week I think to re-pay the loan so you are ok for now PS. Thanks for clearing that up.
@Vintage_Gamer - if you need to, please file a complaint as usual against caliki and it will be handled there. This is so we can keep a record of everything. Same goes for anyone else with outstanding loans from Caliki123.
Ok, well this has been quite the saga. In total there were 20 loans taken out over a 3 day period.. quite the debt. Firstly I would like to make it clear that you were less than co-operative in this whole thing. It was only after near 2 days of exchanging messages did you finally take responsibility for any of your actions and you quite clearly changed your story to fit whatever evidence I presented to you. The evidence points very strongly towards you attempting to conceal the transfer of money through trade signs between the 2 accounts. This behaviour is not ok in the slightest and we will catch you. At the time of writing this, only 8 out of 20 people have filed a complaint for the loan. How this is going to work is that I will base your appeal from those 8 and will set a deadline for repayment of them. I will then message the other 12 people and invite them to file a complaint themselves, and when they do so I will set a new deadline for that debt which will be your deadline from this appeal + some more time. This is probably making no sense, and to risk you missing your deadline/me tagging you in a complaint I will start a forum PM with you and list all of your deadlines. As for this appeal, the following people have filed complaints so far and you owe them: @lolelf123 - 7.5k @Kafas1 - 30k @Ninjaboy3113 - 35k @zombies_eat_you - 40k @Jmillertime - 20k @awesomemen64 - 75k @ChargerBoltz5 - 30k @Vintage_Gamer - 55k That brings a total so far of 292,500. For this initial amount I am going to allow you 20 days to repay it. With regards to a tempban I am going to give you a 2 day tempban. That is made up of 3 days for scamming but minus the day that I didn't handle the appeal yesterday afternoon/today like I explained to you to see if anyone else filed a complaint. I would consider yourself lucky that this tempban isn't considerably longer btw. So your new deadline for these debts is the 23rd December, although I suggest that you repay them as soon as you can as it is more than likely that more complaints will be filed soon. @iTzXtremeGaming's ban reduced to a 2 day tempban
