I was just extremely fed up with something very emotional, and life changing in my life right now. This was totally unacceptable of me regardless, and shows a lack of discipline, and self-control. I would like to apologize to TomKellyCreeper, and hope he understands what I'm going through right now. I am sorry for harassing you via pm, and in global chat. It was not right of me. I have yet again read through ECC's rules, and found the rule that I broke, shown below. Clause 2 - Vulgarity Inappropriate and vulgar language is not allowed. This includes anything put on signs, said in chat, written in books, renamed to on items (see Section 3 Clause 2.1), spelt out in blocks, or any other way of communicating. Occasional mild to moderate vulgarities that are not directed at anyone (such as "slip-ups" or saying them in the incorrect chat by accident), self-censorship of a swear word or abbreviations that may imply a swear word (ie. WTF?) are allowed. Repeated or excessive swearing, and especially vulgar language directed at anyone, is not tolerated under any circumstance. Racist language of any sort falls under the vulgarity rule, and is considered a very serious offence, punishment of which may not warrant a warning before being given. Evidence: N/A
Hello there, Thank you for taking the time to file this appeal and do so with some effort shown. As you identified above, you are indeed banned for cursing at and harassing users after many warnings. I hate to say redundant for your last appeal that I handled, but these two ban reasons are almost exactly the same, so please excuse the redundancy as apparently I need to reinforce my point. Here on ECC, as you should well know by now, we do not tolerate any sort of foul language, especially when it is directed at another user. We are intended to be a family-based server which is why we enforce this rule so much as we do not aim to harm any user with words. Additionally, your ban reason includes "after many warnings" which indicates to me that you outright refused to listen to staff directions which is a big no-no. Staff are the givers of wisdom and, if you listen to them, help you stay out of situations in which a ban is given. I highly suggest you start heeding our warnings. After looking at your history, I have decided to issue you a 32 hour temp-ban for your repeated illegal actions. During this time, I want you to re-read the server rules, look over my previous ruling in your last ban appeal, and attempt to form a plan of action to correct your behaviors before another ban is issued on your account. Your consequences, as I mentioned in your last appeal, have become stricter and will continue to get stricter.
