Woohoo, time for more numbers with rosypolly. (I bet your all sick of these by now) Let’s pretend you can trade your ECC dollars for USD dollars.(which is against server rules to my understanding so don’t do that.)So what is the amount of ECC dollars you would need to buy some popular real life items, and how many of each farm item would you need to collect to get enough money. A 32GB 4th generation IPod touch USD= $271.99 ECC= $813,030 Wheat= 464,588 Pumpkins= 813,030 Reeds= 2,032,575 Melon Blocks= 406,515 A 16GB IPad 2 USD= $529.99 ECC= $1,587,030 Wheat= 906,874 Pumpkins= 1,587,030 Reeds= 3,967,575 Melon Blocks= 793,515 2012 Ford F-450 (a truck) USD= $49,395 ECC= $148,185,000 Wheat= 84,677,143 Pumpkins= 148,185,000 Reeds= 370,462,500 Melon Blocks= 74,092,500 The Average Price of a Home in the USA USD= $273,900 ECC= $821,700,000 Wheat= 469,542,857 Pumpkins= 821,700,000 Reeds= 2,054,250,000 Melon Blocks= 410,850,000 The International Space Station (everyone needs one of these ) USD= 150 billion dollars ECC= 450 trillion dollars Wheat= 257,142,857,142,857 (stupid wheat not working out into a nice number) Pumpkins= 450 trillion Reeds= 1 quadrillion and 125 trillion Melon Blocks= 225 trillion *all the prices are based off the 1 USD=3,000 ECC ratio *numbers are rounded after the decimal point *taxes are not included There you have it, go out and reed farm yourself an international space station. Should only take you 1,122,500,000,000 hours (assuming you make 10k an hour) or 12,842,466 years. (Pro tip: you won’t live that long) Any how this was an idea I was going to put in my old numbers thread, but that got spammed and is now probably considered dead so this gets its own thread. You can still check out the old one here ----> viewtopic.php?f=8&t=19132 (shamelessly self-promoting) Hope you liked. Post your own items down below, and ill figure the numbers out for it and add it to the post above.
Keep on making these threads. Theyre really interesting. Suggestion: Calculate how many sticks you would have to sell to afford the refund of the spanish banks ( its a challenge )
incorrect. actually, using my ti-84, it comes out to 9.86960437853402347396591036585342893629403825218450634289457105756346523098684722871918718472934759274 approximately.
Wealth of the richest people in history, assuming the same things as rosy does (all of these are estimates): Musa I, Mansa of Mali: USD = $400 billion (or $400000000000) ECC = $1.2 trillion (or $1200000000000) Pumpkins = 1.2 trillion Wheat = 687 billion Reeds = 3 trillion Melons = 600 billion Nicolas II, Tsar of the Russian Empire: USD = $290 billion (or $290000000000) ECC = $870 billion (or $870000000000) Pumpkins = 870 billion Wheat = 497 billion Reeds = 2.18 trillion Melons = 435 billion Andrew Carnegie: USD = $297.8 billion (or $297800000000) ECC = $893.4 billion (or $893400000000) Pumpkins = 893.4 billion Wheat = 510 billion Reeds = 2.23 trillion Melons = 446.7 billion John D. Rockefeller (considered richest man ever, and like, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever): USD = $663.4 billion (or $663400000000) ECC = 2 trillion (or $2000000000000) Pumpkins = 2 trillion Wheat = 1.14 trillion Reeds = 4.98 trillion Melons = 995 billion Carlos Slim Helu (richest living man): USD = $63.3 billion (or $63300000000) ECC = $189.9 billion (or $189900000000) (not awe-inspiringly high enough, not gonna bother with farming prices) Carlisle Cullen (if you don't recognise the name, don't bother): USD = $36.3 billion (or $36300000000) ECC = $108.9 billion (or $108900000000) (not awe-inspiringly high enough, not gonna bother with farming prices) (yes, Forbes has actually estimated his wealth) House of Rothschild (a very very very famous and very very very rich banking family): USD = over 300 trillion (yes, you read that right) (highest estimate) (or $300000000000000) ECC = over 900 trillion (or $900000000000000) Pumpkins = 900 trillion Wheat = 514 trillion Reeds = 2.25 quadrillion Melons = 450 trillion NB: the Rothschild family really exists, and the collective wealth of the entire family (known as the House of Rothschild) has actually been estimated at over 300 trillion (which would actually mean that this family is 4 times richer than the rest of the entire world). GET FARMING NOW.
And now just for lols, how long you need to farm a 200x200 block of pumpkins/wheat/reeds/melons to get to Rothschild wealth (not including water blocks and assuming shortest growing time as well as 200x200 full of farmable items, as well as 30 days to a month, as well as instant auto-farming): Wheat: 64 billion minutes 1071428571 hours 44642857 days 1488095 months (30 days) 124008 years (360 days) Melons: 11 billion minutes 1.875 billion hours 7.8125 million days 240417 months (30 days) 21701 years (360 days) Pumpkins: growth time unknown Sugar Cane: growth time unknown
So if I make 500 or so melon farms that are as good as they can get and have 500 bots farming them non stop all day all night for 50 years, I'll own that much in ECC dollars by the time I'm 64? That doesn't sound right... hmm.
Well, due to java limitations (as well as a limit set in configs) you can only actually have 10 trillion ecc dollars at a time, and even if you did get 900 trillion dollars, it wouldn't be exchangable. But you can take pride in knowing that on a desolate, obsolete server on an archaic video game (video game? we're up to like virtual virtual virtual virtual virtual games now!) you have more 4x more money than the world did when you started making this fake money.
