I once had the idea of rendering my president town, PivilleBerlin, with the help of the mapping program Tectonicus. Only problem: I need a world file for that. Then I spent some time to build PivilleBerlin both on ECC and in Singleplayer, the second one supported by WorldEdit. Then I used WorldEdit to create everything I planned for the town. Now, a few weeks later, I have finally finished the singleplayer world of PivilleBerlin and proudly present you a render of the town. Behold! This is the glorious PivilleBerlin (Render software: Tectonicus)! Spoiler I have invested weeks, but it was worth it. If you find anything wrong, for example a missing window somewhere, please tell me! This image may be updated in the future if I decide to change something about the town. The floor height of some buildings may change as well. PivilleRome mansion renders (Chunky)! Spoiler PivilleBerlin renders (Chunky)! Spoiler SurvivalGames arena 4 (Chunky)! (Found it on PMC, so I had a download world to work with.) Spoiler ECC head museum, main tower (Chunky)! (Rebuilt a quarter in singleplayer, then enjoyed the power of WorldEdit.) Design by @Mission001. Spoiler
I'd like to adjust the background to the forum colour - does anybody know the RGB code of this grey colour? @JamieSinn - I saw you voted "No" on the poll. Do you have any suggestions what I should change/improve? :3
Lighting, and change the views. Also, try using a better rendering software, as well as proper materials. I'll dig up a thread I made about me rendering spawn for andrew's project a waaaaaay long time ago, that was done in Cinema4D. Edit: http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/ecc-spawn-in-3d-wtf.54995/ That's Cinema4D, Here's a random render I did in 3dsmax. http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/3dsmax-graffiti.82412/
Thanks for the info! Will try. With tectonicus, my rendering options are limited. Only default texture pack, choosing between day or night lighting and a perspective change is not possible. Will try to work with that one!
Alright, let's bring this back to life! Added some renders of an example prebuilt for PivilleRome usingt he much better software Chunky. @JamieSinn, what do you think of the new images?
I have found the original map of our SG 4 on planetminecraft...currently making some nice renders of it during the night.
If there is a save file of the ECC spawn somewhere, sure. But normal ingame buildings can't be rendered because chunky requires a save file. :/
