Minecraft Name: knears2000 Suggestion: To have more member showcased on the highest posting members of the forums. Instead of 12, it could be 20. Reason: it would just be nice to see more users on that area. Any Other Information: Nope Link To This Plugin: Andrews forum powers.
I like it. Not only would it showcase my power by adding a bunch of people below me, it would also show Knears how far he has to climb to reach me.
It's not really needed, but I don't see why not. I have a feeling it's only going to encourage people to post useless stuff just to gain more posts.
Not needed? Not needed?!!? Just for that Ryan, I'll be sure to surpass 7,000 posts even sooner. :/ It is needed vitally.
I know I have posted on forum games quite a bit during one point, but I've gotten my last 400 posts from basically the suggestions forums area alone.
I'd much prefer there to be sorting options on members (which would include sorting by post count)... Much like the old forum. :/ Sort by post count, by join date, by name, by letter, etc. Not sure we need to promote more spam with an expansion to the top highest posters, though. We already get people who are posting multiple times in a row just to get post count up. Not sure if we really have a double-/multiple-post rule or not, but most forums do. (And personally, I get sad at people who use Forum Games for a way to get post count up, lol. Same with applications Staff do, but that cannot be helped.)
Personally, I don't think its needed. I don't want players trying to spam posts to get there and I certainly don't want anyone feeling like that is something that really truly matters. I mean, heck, I only got on the list by doing my job a lil too enthusiastically lol.
I think we should have a leaderboard showing the players with the most ratings, that would push people to post solid quality non-spammy content.
72Volt, I must say that is a brilliant plan. I agree that we should put a ratings level group. We could probably put it in the same place as the # of posts group. . That would not only encourage quality posting but that would showcase those who already are quality posting. I approve of that idea 72volt.
I'd much rather have rating over post. Merely because most ratings you receive are because you posted something constructive, not random spam.
