Hello ECC, For those of you who dont know me, I am origamimaster10 and I will be showing you a basic way of making a fishing table! Just follow the screenshots below! ITEMS NEEDED Pickaxe Material (in my case diamond blocks) Water placer 2 wooden fence 2 pressure plates (in my case 2 iron plates) Glowstone 1) First, find a empty area with a wall as shown below. 2) Next, Destroy a hole in the wall shown below and build 7 blocks out starting from the wall. 3) Next, make the design shown below. 4)Now, replace the stone with glowstone where shown below. 5) Place two fence blocks between the stone on the ground shown below and place water and pressure plates where shown. 6) Place 8 blocks of your choice BEHIND the fence 7) make a structure like the one in the screenies And you are done! hope you enjoy this tutorial! post below to request other tutorials! lol Ctoolme fishing at the table! ok bye!
Its basically a place where you can fish without having to move alot. its really IMO easier to fish at.
Also, it is way easier to tell when you actually have a fish, the bobber will get pulled to the ground and stay there. Nice tutorial by the way origami.
Not only is it easier to see, but when you fish in a lake/pond/ocean/stream, you have to time it. If you don't pull the bobber back just as the bite happens, you miss it and the bobber comes back to the surface. With a fishing table, the bobber will stay down after the bite and you can pull back your catch at any time you choose.
