WELCOMEHello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the third edition of the ecc blog! *Bows to applause* Now I know you’re all excited for this edition because in it I will be featuring (for the first time) a town and a build that were submitted to me over the last week or so. I must say that I was very happy to see that the amount of submissions that I was getting rose quite dramatically in comparison to past editions which I think was influenced by that fact that I can now advertise on the server along with in the forum’s shoutbox. So without further ado I give you the third edition of the ecc blog!-Anvildash BUILD OF THE WEEKThis week’s build of the week was submitted by _TANSTAAFL and it is the superb GG Bridge. This build is truly amazing! I was honestly shocked to find out that this massive build spans the length of 13 towns! I could never imagine that someone had made something so massive on ecc. I mean the size of farms that people have built is impressive, but this is astonishing! I congratulate _TANSTAAFL blowing all our minds with this recreation of the Golden Gate Bridge. I sat down for an interview with _TANSTAAFL to talk about the GG Bridge, here’s what was said: PS: Thanks to voiD_yO for helping me get screenshots of this buildFEATURED TOWN OF THE WEEKThis week’s feature town of the week is Las Sendas and was submitted by Avaina1918. This is a lovely quaint little town floats above a clear clam ocean and really reminds me of suburban cul-de-sacs minus the actual cul-de-sac. It features nicely sized plots for a fair price and of course friendly neighbors. This town for me really feels like a great town to start out in because it is well lain out with clear rules that are sure to keep you, you property, and your items save from all kinds of nasty stealers . One awesome thing that I noticed about this town is that there is actually a wool map that tells you all the plots that are available, taken, or that have prebuilt homes on them. I found that this is such a unique idea and I must say that I've never seen town organisation like this ever in my history on ECC! I sat down with Avaina1918 to discuss his town, here is what was said: QUESTION OF THE WEEK Last week's question of the week was... We got some interesting responses from you all, but here are some that I found were the most interesting. 12345shane responded with: steveshizzle responded with: rabidworm responded with: This week's question of the week is: If you were a block, what would it be and why? Post interesting and creative responses in the comments below! Thanks to everyone who participated this week and I look forward to the next edition! *NOTE* Next edition of the ECC blog won't feature towns/builds but will have more information/writing pieces (I needed to split up the two types to reduce the size of the editions)Please use this format when suggesting builds/towns to be featured: Code: IGN: IS THIS A BUILD OR A TOWN?: NAME OF TOWN/BUILD: OWNER OF TOWN/BUILD: COORDS/PORTAL/DIRECTIONS TO TOWN/BUILD: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
If you were a block, what would it be and why? Bookshelves. Honestly they fit my personality type. Reading (and debating(and writing)) has got to be one of my favorite things.
