    Okay guys, so i'm using this post to display information about 1.3 that the staff team has been working on so far, to keep you guys as updated as possible. Because I know how eager everyone can be <3.

    First things first, String. Now that string is an item you can place on the ground, we have removed it as the item you can check regions with and replaced it with flint. This means /kit string is now /kit flint, and /kit starter gives flint instead of string.

    Second major update. Pumpkins need to get nerfed again (to .75 cents) because of changes in the way both our anti-cheat system works, and the way farm items grow. 1.3 hosts a few ways to get faster farming results, and therefor we need to nerf pumpkins to compensate.


    Okay, we've decided that Extended creation users should be able to do /kit enderchest . To give ECr users more features :D The cooldown for this will be once a day.

    Excavation drops have been disabled due to a MASSIVE duplication bug (seriously...I made like 2k eggs. :|)

    Town chat channels have been removed due to a change in plugins. If you have purchased a town chat channel, you may request a refund here: viewtopic.php?f=8&p=124670#p124663

    Update: Because of herochat being very VERY buggy, all users can now leave all channels. There is no current fix for this.

    It's great to see that 1.3 is going to be up and running soon! I like how string can be still used, although I'll have to be a lot more wary when wandering around the mining world :?

    Also, I'm probably one of the only people who's excited to see this occur, but pumpkin farming has been nerfed yet again. I think this will drive more people away from farming and add a little bit more of diversity to ECC ;)

    Glad to see you guys working hard on the new update!

    Finally a use for flint. Just one question though.
    Will the price of flint and string go up now that they are in higher demand?

    I doubt that the value of flint will go up by much, as all you need is one, really, to check the town boundaries, and you can get it easily by /kit flint.

    Also, as for string, demand might increase as they are substituted for pressure plates in the mainworld and traps in the nether and mining world, so the value of string might go up.

    I really liked getting spontaneous drops of glowstone from dirt, and I can see some people who make fire charges and sell them by getting gunpowder from gravel are going to be devastated. I can obviously understand why you disabled it though, we can't have everyone making like 10k a minute with eggs :p

    Instead of flint, you could also use /rg info, or /region info.
