+1! People should have a reason, before "Hating" or "Disliking" Someones idea, it may be a form of trolling and just plain annoying. I belive that someone has to have a good reason, instead of just saying -1.

I didn't mean to troll you, and I apoligize if it seemed that way. I honestly forget what I was refering to at the moment, but I'll give you real feed back now.

I reread the suggestion, and still disagree. Though I do not like "-1"'s myself, I do not think that they should be illegal. Again, my apoligies for the rude answer.

I see a few problems with your request. 1) That would be a lot of work on the moderators. We already have quite a bit to do and patrolling the forums just to see if someone wrote "-1" would be a lot of additional work. I would recommend instead just ignoring it. 2) In all honestly if someone wants to tell you they don't like your idea but don't want to tell you why they will find ways around the outlawing of "-1" They could post instead "No" or "Down Thumb" etc etc etc. Eventually each of these things would get banned and we would be looking for a lot of different yet similar things.

TL : DR - I don't think it is a good idea.

 

Yeah, you pretty much summed it up revan. Agreed.

 

They don't do that to troll you, they do that because they want to state their opinion, Everyone has a chance to express their opinion, Also if a Staff member thinks some user is trolling, they can warn him or you can just put a Complaint against that user.

Doing that is trolling, and is a serious crime. I belive that this needs to be taken into consideration
