Minecraft Name: @RazorRimz Suggestion: Change Chorus Fruit prices back to $7 Reason: Because it's not worth farming in the end anymore. People would rather farm melons, the reward isn't good enough for the risk. It used to be $10, nerfed to $7, nerfing it down to $4 is very bad. Other Information: Idk why it was changed to $4 Link to this plugin/Is this a custom addition?: N/A
What risks?? You can /spawn while in combat so there is no real risk of dying.... Macromod prevents you from dying.... you could set it to auto spawn at 3 hearts. Unlimited near allows you to spawn as soon as someone comes into the end. Let's be real there have been more deaths in the end from glitches/bugs than actual player combat.
I agree with both sides here. I see the point of people just spawning which means they don't die but you still can take their harvest and the location of their farm for future raids. There are ways to die outside of pvp combat not as likely but possible. As far as macromods go getting rid of it will not eliminate the problem of people spawning. I think that /near distance is a bit op but it works in both favors. I think with the lack of feature protections in the end and the risk of pvp/raiding it should profit more than other ways to make money. I think $4 is a little low but maybe $7 is to high. Possibly meet in the middle around $5.50/per to help offset the risk aspect but not so high that you just making tons of money.
No they aren't... It's not being eliminated it is just becoming less overpowered. It'll still make like 30k an hour which is better than melons and fishing (based on previously making 50k/hr). So at this point you're not being stripped of it, you're just choosing not to do it.
No one raids/attacks in the end, And if there is a small group that does. Everyone else just farms when they're offline. The point is to have High Risk High reward. There is less risk, So there should be less reward. The Nerf is putting the end around 30k an hour. The end is a way for someone without a startool to make the same money as someone with startools. And like nicit stated. The end is still making more money than a Starrod, and a Melonsword.
Risk of getting your crops stolen that you just planted, risk of getting your farm destroyed etc. Even though there is a decrease in people raiding ecc makes it hard for people to get money anyway. Isn't that why some people are leaving because its too much of a long term game.
It would allow those that think this is a long term game have a quicker way of playing. Also increasing the amount someone earns is just paying us back from the money taken from the people like us in the crazy lotto's its time they started giving back to the community instead of thinking about themselves. One of the reasons why people are leaving not enough focus on the people that play, but instead the focus is on themselves.
yeahhhh no. There are only a couple people who made 50k/hour. The rest usually end up making 20k/hour because of the hassle in the end, size of farms, etc... To make 50k/hour, you need to have nobody trying to raid you, have a huge farm, have lots of time, be wealthy to buy the amount of materials necessary, etc... It's not like you just prance in there, plant your crops and make 50k/hour.
I mean I'm pretty sure you've said it makes sense staying at 7$ yourself because of the risk, andrew also stated it in the original post. The risk of making money in the end is VERY high. I mean one person comes in the end that's a pvp'er, you can no longer farm for a couple of hours. One person comes in and finds your farm, taking your profit, you just lost an hour worth of farming. I think it's pretty self explanatory why the chorus price must be so high, I can understand maybe dropping it a 1$, but 3$? At that point it's really just more reasonable to mine, since there is no risk.
Also, what effort does either of those take? Compared to end farming, I mean you have to sit there the entire time focusing on flower farming, then planting, spamming /near, possibly leaving / fighting so your things don't get taken. Still it's definitely the most required effort to make money on ECC right now I would say. I dont think really comparing it to these star tools and not taking in effort is really reasonable, there is a reason why melon farming is like 17k, you can literally watch netflix as you farm at the same time. With end farming if you want to be able to plant the next hour you need to be constantly flower farming.
What other benefit is there to even asking for a price increase on things that make money? like melon prices or cocoa bean prices? There shouldn't be another required benefit, it's an economy server, it's literally meant for you to make money. I can kinda see both sides, just personally think the nerf is way too much.
