Whoever assembles the code and opens the Grand Prize chest first will be 300,000 EcoDollars richer!

THE LABYRINTH OPENS IN:​

The main way to get there is via a spawn portal to Labyrinth town, located on town portal level 6, on the inner ring with the blue wool on the floor. When you walk through the correct portal you will arrive at a glass-enclosed outer area of Labyrinth town. Please stay within this outer area for now. The doors to the lobby will open at 6PM EDT if you want to show up early. I can also offer TPs to those who have trouble finding the spawn-to-town portal.

• There is no fee to enter the event, it's absolutely free! (But I do appreciate donations, which will go towards increasing the Grand Prize)

CLUES: You need to read these if you want to have any chance of winning.

• The labyrinth is a maze which is now made up by TWO vertical levels. Including the inner walls, the upper level (The Halls of Confusion) measures about 160x160. The lower level (the Halls of Despair) is somewhat smaller, but is still a significant size. There are a few ladders which vertically connect the levels.
• There are TWO entrances, one letting you into the upper level and the other entrance leads to the lower level.
• Unlike last time, the goal is not simply to exit the back of the Labyrinth...
• The main challenge this is that there are 10 pieces of code (reduced from the original 14), each made of a three letter word. They are found in "Donation Chests" scattered throughout both levels of the maze. The upper level has 7 part of the code, and the lower level has 3. Each code piece is found as the new "name" of a renamed piece of gravel in the chest, and the gravel's "name" also indicates where in the code is goes. Example of one of these names would be something like this: "9th part = BAD", "3rd part = JET", and so on. The code pieces must all be assembled in the correct order. When you have the entire code in the correct order you will be able to unlock the door to the grand prize room, and unlock the grand prize chest. First person to do that wins 300k!
• You will probably also find locked chests. They cannot be opened and have NOTHING inside. The only chests that matter are the donation chests with the pieces of gravel. Because they are donation chests, the pieces of gravel can be examined but cannot be removed.
• I would encourage you to work in teams, trading the code pieces with each other to increase your chance of assembling the full code. You may also buy and sell the codes. If you get scammed with an incorrect code, however, that is NOT my problem.
• The first player to reach the Grand Prize Room that lies beyond the password-locked door at the bottom of the labyrinth (can be opened via /cunlock with the full code), and successfully turns in the book which is found in the password-locked chest in the Grand Prize room (again, can be opened via /cunlock with the full code) will be sent by me, via the /pay command, 300,000 EcoDollars. Whether you "teamed up" or traded with other players is not my concern. I will send the Grand Prize via /pay to ONE player only, which will be the player who successfully pulls the correct book out of the Grand Prize chest. EDIT: I am willing to split the Grand prize between two or more people, as long as you ALL agree that's what you want. Otherwise the Grand Prize goes only to the person who retrieved the book from the chest.

RULES: Some of these differ from last time so please ready and follow these and we'll all have fun! Thanks everyone for playing by the rules last time, I appreciate it!

• This time, /fly and /speed are NOT allowed, because they might give a slight advantage in some portions of the labyrinth. Therefore, I must also prohibit the use of speed potions.
• Also different from last time, is that mods and admins who wish to participate ARE eligible to win the Grand Prize, as long as they follow all the rules.
• Use of TP+ commands while at Labyrinth town is strictly prohibited. That means NO /top, NO /jumpto, and NO holding compasses as the active item while in the labyrinth. The labyrinth is designed so that they won't really help you anyway but please do not do it.
• Using /sethome to set a home inside the Labyrinth is prohibited.
• Regular TPing is only allowed within the game's lobby area, in order to help people reach the lobby without needing to find the spawn portal. Once you are inside the labyrinth, you MAY NOT TP other players to your location within the labyrinth. The only thing you may do is teleport yourself OUT if you wish to leave the labyrinth for some reason. Because setting a home inside the labyrinth is prohibited, if you have to leave the maze, the only legal way back in is by walking through one of the entrances.
• Use of Ender Pearls while at Labyrinth town is prohibited.
• Being in disguise or vanished while in the labyrinth itself is not allowed, because we need to be able to monitor the area in order to protect the legit players from any rule-breakers.
• Do NOT attempt to visit the inner main lobby of the labyrinth at this time. Until then, the only part of Labyrinth town you may visit is the glass enclosed staircase area that the spawn portal leads to. Unless you have my permission, if you are noticed to be in a prohibited area I may decide to disqualify you from the event.
• Break the rules and you may be disqualified. If disqualified you must exit the labyrinth immediately.
• After the event is complete, the labyrinth will remain open and will be available for you to visit any time you wish!

Great! I wish I had added a poll question about whether people are going, but I forgot and unfortunately it doesn't seem like they can be added retroactively. Still, I am feeling confident that there will be a good turnout.
