I don't know what specific ones you want so i recommend visiting Currys (Its a shop...;)), It's great for laptops in my opinion!

 

macbook air is more for business type things. I suggest a macbook pro but its out of the price range

 

Wow finding a gaming laptop for 500$ to 1000$ proves to be hard I will have another look at some other websites

PS: I have a V3 and love it, its smaller and not as beefed up though :p

 

This doesnt even list a GPU nub :( . GPU is main driving force behind game graphics, second is obv Processor/RAM

 

Here is the same one as far as I can see. It does not list it on amazon but all laptops have a GPU and that one is quite good. Plus it is $400 off for another day if you wanna buy it now.

I know someone who sells used laptops and pc towers for cheap and they are great! range is 100-300$ I got 2 of them and they work fine but the tosihba is a bit laggy on the spawn but its light to carry with you. The acre is good it got a web cam way faster minecraft but crashes when you play on it in ur lap after an hour

I know little to nothing about software and such, but I've noticed a lot of my friends and peers are using ASUS laptops for minecraft and LoL and they say it runs fairly well. Price tag seems to run between $350-$800

 

I think what he meant was one of these. I've heard good things about lenovo's gaming laptops, but I'm not too sure about the build quality, but if you don't wnat to game and want to get a reliable/tough laptop for school/business/etc... get a thinkpad ;)

-I heard the surface pro 3 (when they release it) is very nice :) it should be able to run at the same framerate as the macbook air.
-Surface pro 2 should also be nice or choose a laptop from the store with powerful graphics and processing.
-Assuming you're a student K-12 or college/university, you can get a discount on some things when you press the education option ;)

 

Personally I think this isn't a good idea at all.

 

It's one of the cheapest gaming laptops out there atm. You get an i7, with dedicated graphics and 8 gigs of RAM for only 900$ or so xD Elsewhere, you'd probably find the same for a lot more xD
