dork1877, me and every one else who replied or will reply to this thread.... Dont waste your time, we have given the facts and why this will not work, and why the majority is against it, yet jazz still argues a illogical point. If we all just dont reply, this will become old, and therefore cannot be brought up again with a necro warning. If I can put it in plain terms without being rude, this idea will not ever work. ECC is based off a set economy balance, meaning that nothing (save donating for ECC dollars) can generate more money. By creating loans, you are increasing this "pool" of money. By rapidly increasing this "pool" without the amount of player increasing, each individual dollar is worth substantially less. Thus, possibly creating something called "hyper expansion" (which is a 500% or more increase in the dollar).

This happened to Germany in the 1900's and they resulted into using money as wallpaper and fire-wood because it was simply worthless. Germany ended up creating a new 'dollar' because of this issue.

I don't know if I would enjoy the day of seeing Melon swords or eff 7's worth 10 mil :p

The economic crisis that happened in Germany was an unwillingness to trade after loosing the war. However, something similar to what you are saying happened in Brazil, Japan, and China.

Ok, I'm not gonna lie and say I'm an expert on the economy but I'm also not stupid. First off, if anything close to this ever happened andrewkm would be in control and to take money you would need an app. Second, more than 90% of the money would be lost to a builder asking for 10 mil. Third, money is never "spawned". Yes money can be printed at the mint but all it really is is currency. All currency is is paper that stands for a certain amount of gold. When money is printed, inflation happens. When too much inflation happens the economy crashes. When the economy crashes nobody donates to the server. When nobody donates to the server, andrewkm can't afford the bills and there is no server to donate to. Any questions?
