Look..... Buddy...... Your not listening.... andrew wont allow you, and only you to do this. Its pointless trying to get your idea across. It wont happen.

Greetings,
I read most of all the posts, I skimmed a couple to be honest.
I, personally, do not think this is a good idea, and I'll try to explain *my* reasons. I also want to say that any IRL example is multiplied greatly in ECC because it is on such a smaller scale. Something that might not have huge impact IRL may have devastating consequences in ECC because of the scaling. (~1000 players in ECC vs ~300,000,000 population of the U.S. alone)
1) The suggestion at first was to allow anyone to do this. I have seen the stance change. Do you at least agree that allowing just anyone to do this is wrong? Players, with no accountability would just keep spawning in money with no incentive to pay it back. IRL example: when people max out their Credit Cards and then just declare bankruptcy.
2) Allowing just you to spawn in money to control inflation. This is what the prices of crops are so tightly controlled/monitored. It is specifically to control the influx of ECC dollars to the server. Farming "spawns in money from nowhere". Hours upon hours are spent calculating/tweaking/testing/observing/etc with the crops and their prices to make sure that only a certain amount of ECC dollars are brought into the ECC economy per person. To allow *you* with limited ECC experience (vs for example kuke, MoofinK, Tommy, Zard, etc) to be making these decisions and to spawn "credit" at will would greatly upset this balance.
3) On a side note: You spawn a mayor 50k so he can improve his town and he gets permabanned for xraying since he wants to pay you back.. Who then becomes responsible for that cash that he "borrowed"? You? Are you really willing to pay back ECC every single 'loan' that you give out when the money is defaulted on? And how long do we give you to do that? It seems like you are asking for more responsibility than you are aware of. Who holds YOU accountable to do that?
These are only my initial thoughts. I don't mind having a conversation, as you know. But I also think that, while this suggestion is creative, it isn't applicable to ECC. One of the selling points of these server specifically states that this is one of the only servers that DOESN'T allow ANYONE to spawn in money from nothing. EVERYTHING (except from Andrewkm), is worked for (or bought with real money :p). To allow this would be breaking one of the cardinal things this server is "built upon".-

I know, money is earned, but spawning in money to be loaned out, so that money is added into the economy, there is still money being earned in that situation. Because people work hard to pay back the loan. -
I was only debating whether my idea was good. But Steveshizzle is trying to explain why I shouldn't have the ability to use the idea, and I know already. Its just that he doesn't know that I already knew Andrewkm wouldn't trust me yet. -
If people will work hard to pay back the loan as you say, then they will work even harder to to earn it themselves to begin with. Because it will not just be handed to them anytime they ask.-

I know that I shouldn't be trusted with the power already. I was only debating whether the money idea was good. What important reason did I miss? -

When we give him reasons why this idea is as bad as hell, he avoids our arguments and explains him self again. This shows further the immaturity and non logic this kid has. He is either trolling or just a cocky 12 year old that thinks he knows everything about economics. Since I am typing again, I might as well explain why this wont work one final last time. First, as Emau said the RL economy is too big with too many variables to be compared to the ECC economy, making all of your foolish RL economic replies NA. Second, your maturity and age has a big factor in running this server. I would never donate to a server thats economy is run by a 12 year old. Who obviously has a flawed idea of ECC economics, and RL economics, because if you really did know about economics, you would not even consider this idea. Third, too much inflation is bad, too little is bad too, but what your suggesting would inflate ECC to the skies, which is bad. Fourth, the logistics of doing this and a rule overhaul would simply be too big for such a stupid idea. I bet you will avoid the majority of my points, but what ever, your 12... This is the argument that will be a reference for any other stupid person that brings up an idea like this again. I will simply copy and paste this if any one else decides to even consider this again.
In summary,
it wont work
don't bring this up again(its stupid)
mature some more if you are going to discuss matters like this
learn how to discuss with people (ignoring some ones points, and saying yours again is pretty damn annoying.)-

ok, jazz, i'm going to explain this as calmly and simply as i can
in our economy we have things called imputs, they add money to the economy these include voting, hunger games, farming and mining (to an extent)
let say that we get 1mil a day from these imputs, that's 1mil a day added to the economy
we also have outputs, things that take away money from the economy, like lottery tax, and applications, and lets say that they take away 950-1mil a day
this gives us an net of 0-50k added a day, to the economy.
now, if we were to allow you, or anyone for that matter, to add, lets say, 5 100k "credit loans", you're adding 500k a day via your input, which drastically effects the economy, causing inflation. -
