Minecraft Name: destroyer2441 Suggestion: add a new /unsmelt command to the game Reason: so that you can say turn stone into cobble or glass into sand if you need to make a project and you only have one of them but you can turn cobble into stone but now stone into cobble Any Other Information: Maybe add it to the extracreations+ feature since thats when you get /smelt Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: no but not sure if it works this way or if you could add a command to the plugin that adds the /smelt command
Well their is a thing called planing your build out before hand or having them handy or go buy them. Also stone to cobble is called breaking it ....
You can exploit this and make unlimited amounts of money by doing what Mel said above. If you want to make it so it only works for glass and stone, maybe. But this is still unnecessary. You can just buy the cobble or sand for very cheap on the player market and if you made a mistake smelting and you regret it, that's your own fault.
^ This ^ And this. Also, what would glass be unsmelted into: white or red sand? -1, smelting is an irreversible process for good reasons: you can't invert non-injective functions unless you introduce an arbitrary choice
I don't disagree with what you're saying... but.. smelting isn't mathematics. There's no reason to talk about injective functions or anything...
It was just an example to show that unsmelting glass would necessarily require to introduce an arbitrary choice between white and red sand, ad that would be inelegant and arbitrary. Being math the essence of elegance, that seemed an obvious comparison to me
I didn't come across the terms "injective" and "surjective" until I started my math undergrad degree...
This is correct Imagine this you get ores fort them turn those fortuned ingots back to ores fort them again this would ruin the economy -1
