Ability for game admins to take money

    Suggestion: adding a plugin that allows game admins or higher to take money from a user who has scammed another player. Right now if you get scammed it is simply pointless to file a complaint unless its a well known person who only plays Ecc. Other players might not care as much if they are banned so many users may never see their money again.

    Reason: many players are scammed and never see their money. This plugin would allow players to get their money back and also make it so that the user who did the scamming get punished. Many users who might scam don't actually care they are banned because they didn't have to pay anyone back. They are joyful because they feel like trolls and accomplished their life goals (not a real life goal) but they still feel accomplished and the member who got scammed is left with nothing in return.

    They can do this but they dont for a good reason that I really don't feel like explaining, and besides in most cases the scammers dont have the money.

    For example i was scammed for 73k and @bmanvan was scammed for 75k player is walking around with all of that money

    No if the situation you provide is acurate he is banned. A lot of the scammers dont return to the server after they are banned thus the money in their bal is out of the economy.

    Situation is being looked into so he hasn't been banned. If a mod or admin doesnt get to the complaint in time the money is spent and is back intot he economy

    Also scamming is illegal so you shouldn't want scammers to take money out of the economy. You shouldn't want your players to get scammed just so money is out of the economy.

    You lose players that way

    And besides for most people the money would go straight to the lottery which has a heavy tax. Not to mention the winner of the lottery is likely to play again because he won all the money leaving the money from the scam going through the tax system many times over.

    Do you think the server wants it to need scammers? If there was no scamming money would either be majorly inflated or a lot harder to get considering all items would be worth a lot less.

    Considering people buy things it wouldn't affect much. If i give my money to blow joe to buy me a donation feature or if i give it to Alfred its still going back into the economy.

    Players are always going to buy and sell which balances things. If nobody was buying items and keeping all their money then it would cause prices to drop

    What if they use it on lotto which in most cases they will. What if they don't use it at all? What if they hide it in a sign? It is likely going out of the economy.

    Lets go with a simple example of a user being scammed.

    Player A makes a deal with Player B and gives Player B 100k.
    Player B scams Player A, Player B currently owns 100k while the complaint is up.
    Player B sends the 100k to Player C or they put it in lotto. Now that money is no longer in his balance.
    Player B gets banned, not longer wants to play so he doesn't appeal.
    Player A has no possible way of getting his money back.

    Lets say we go with your idea and implement this into Player A's complaint. Player A now has 100k, and Player C/lotto also has 100k. Now there is 200k in the economy instead of 100k.

    This is one example of why this won't happen.


    Giving players their money back is literally spawning in money, which is something the staff team avoid doing at all cost.

    Most scammers are scammers because they decided to do lotto won, did it again and eventually lost all their money. Then the become desperate to buy lottory tickets and scam people just to do lotto again.
