Is there a way to get above the nether, because endear pearls are disabled. It would be really cool if you could.

Don't think so, though somebody should confirm. Haven't played in a while, or gone into the nether. Hehe.

I believe doing "/top" in the nether works.

There's many ways to get up there. Use your resources (youtube) and I'm sure you'll be able to manage to find a way up there. I've done it a few times, so I can confirm along with rabid it's very much so possible.
There's no need for /top or /j. -
Just set a home really high up in the nether, then after a nether reset it will probably bump you up top.
Basically, if the spot you were at before is now solid, it will put you at the next available higher spot. -
The easiest and fastest way up is to find a 'pillar' of a solid area that goes up, dig atleast 10 blocks into it, set a home, then fill your dug hole all the way back in and go to that home

Theres nothing really interesting up there. -
If you set a home in lava and go /home it'll take you to the lowest non-lava block above that. If you set a home in lava near the top of the nether and do /home to it then you'll probably get on the top. But all there is up there is some mushrooms...

Not sure if this works on Ecc but if you take a piece of dirt and a sapling up to a point where you can see bedrock, all you have to do is clear space so the tree will grow and it will grow through the bedrock. then once you cut down the tree you are in. Not sure if it works on ecc though as i stated above
