Minecraft Name: TimmyChoi Suggestion: Adding the Australian Stock Exchange or any other Market around the same time zone, the ASX 200, to the ECC Stock Trader. Reason: Most of the time, the US stock market is open when we fellow Aussies are sleeping, which gives us around 1-2 hrs if we're lucky to participate in the Stock Market games. This doesn't only apply to Aussies but many of the fellow players who live around the oceanic region/timezone and miss out heavily due to the different time zones. For example, the US Stock Market opens at 9:45am EST, which is 11:45pm (almost midnight) here in Sydney, and it closes at 4pm EST which is 6am in Sydney (which is way before anyone wakes up). So the only solution for us people to even have a chance to participate in the "Stock Trader" is to either stay up excessively late 12am> or set an alarm to excessively early in the morning. By Adding an Australian Stock Exchange, it allows players who are not just from the US to have a fair advantage in the Stock Trader. Players from the US, usually have a better/clearer understanding of the stocks and shares in the NYSE, as it comes up daily in the News/Commerce/Economic Classes whereas people from other regions/places don't have such an advantage. By adding another market which is on the other side of the time zone, will allow players to have a variety of options on where to invest and give people a better learning experience through investment in different areas of the world, which may lead to better fun. Any Other Information: I know that Andrew has to manually turn on the Stock Market everyday so adding an Australian/Oceanic Region Stock Market will be close to impossible as then Andrew will have to wake up early in the morning/sleep late at night. However, if the automation of the closing and opening of the market is ever set in place, I really hope to see that the ASX 200 or any other market in a different timezone will be implemented to suit other players who do not live in the US. I believe that andrew is planning on adding European and Aussie exchanges later, after some other things with aftermarket (I think this is the issue) are fixed. That's what I've heard. But, from the perspective of usefulness, allowing people in the US to trade when our markets are closed is a plus, and allowing people outside the US to have more convenience is a win-win. +1 if it can be added without issue.
