2 nethers for the first month of 1.16What are you suggesting:
For the first month of 1.16 I think we should have two different nether worlds per server, one of the nether worlds can be accessed via our normal Survivor+ rank, and the other one will be free to all new players.Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
1.16 is a pretty large update in terms of features, and lots of new players will be flocking to servers to check out the new features, especially if we are going to advertise during this period, I feel that A LOT of new people joining the server will be asking if we have the new Nether, and having an access fee of 20k just to access and explore it will put a lot of new people off, my logic here is, let them join the server, explore the new Nether and get them integrated into the server to improve player retention.
By also having 2 nether worlds we won't be saturating the 1 world with all of the new players, and the players who have paid for Survivor, let them have their own separate nether. I do realize that this is a "hardcore" economy server, but I feel the impact on the economy will be minimal. along with that I know genning new words is time-consuming, so that's why I am suggesting this addition for only the first month of 1.16

+1 good idea. or just make the nether bigger for the first month

+1 IF one of the worlds is NO PVP.... Bringing new people into an area to collect new blocks, but allowing them to be killed and lose their tools seems like a issue waiting to happen.

id say if we were to do this, make the "free nether" much smaller, or increase the size of the paid nether. the problem id see otherwise is the people who paid would feel that their "feature" is being taken away, and we know that doesn't go well with the playerbase sometimes.

Anyway, +1. I can see people trialing out new 1.16 nether, and then once free month is over then applying for survivor ranks to continue access, who overwise would not have been too bothered about nether ranks.-

Ima be real here chief, people dont quit the server cause they cant join the nether. They usually dont like the gameplay loop and thats why they tap out within a week
Adding another nether is a lot of work for what will end up having the same effect as right now -
Making it free for a month will make everyone pay the 20k the next month because they will miss it too much.-

I literally only read "2 Nether Worlds" from the title, and immediately scrolled down to deny it.
Setting up worlds isn't as 1, 2, 3 as you think. The amount of configuration to add just one world to a main is mind blowing.
Our worlds aren't only scattered over dozens of configs, but also hardcoded into several plugins.
Not to mention permissions and the massive amount of change I'd have to make (we're talking tons of hours).
Not to mention the fact world management completely changed in 1.16.
Not to ment....... nvm you get it.
Furthermore this is quite literally not needed, as we have three Main servers, thus three different nether worlds.
