Minecraft Name: Revanrose6
Suggestion: In the event a player who has sold his town to someone else, realizes they are going inactive, or have gone inactive. Allow them to give consent on the forum or in game and allow it to be used to remove an original owners locks. ie: I buy a town from (random name) Moofink. Moofink goes inactive. I file an LWC for her stuff in her original town and tag her. She replies, "Sure, you can remove these locks." On the thread. The locks are now removable.
Reason: Original owners locks can be a pain and if they give express permission to have them removed then I don't see a problem.

I can see how this is very useful, I only see one possible issue with this, and that would be the fact that the server doesn't support town transfers. Other than that I think this would be really helpful.

I think this is a wonderful idea! I have acquired a town where the original owner gave me explicit permission to remove the locks via pm in-game and allowed me to have the items as well (via screenshots). I know how frustrating it can be when you can't remove the locked items from the town, and causes problems with construction. So again, I think this is a great suggestion and should definitely, in my opinion, be considered when doing LWC Removals. +1

Yeah, sounds good because now you can't "cheat" the system without permission. +1.

What if the user is inactive on the forum also?

I'd agree with this, but one thing, it would probably be much easier to just get them out of inactivity just to say, "yes, you can remove this. " Also, what if the lwc remover goes overboard and removes locks on precious chests you did NOT give perms to remove? They'd still have consent.
It would be much easier for the person to log in and remove all the locks instead of them coming out of inactivity for 5 months+ and giving consent. -
