One of my towns, Southcaster, has been under a deny use flag for a long time, because I have a bunch of players who like keeping horses. They know it's at their own risk, but they like it. The use flag seemed to limit horse murder to other town residents -- at least, my understanding of the use flag is that it prevents among other things interaction between town non-members and passive mobs.

One of those players, @Israellawson, has just reported to me that another player, @TimmyChoi, killed all of his horses right in front of him, and he's a little upset. According to "rg i southcaster" the deny flag is still there. I understand that this is not necessarily a violation of any rules by @TimmyChoi, but isn't the use flag supposed to prevent that sort of thing?

 

You know, I don't think that it would take too much analysis to realize that this thread isn't about you, since this isn't a user complaint -- although I would appreciate better behavior in my town. I'm just wondering about the flag.
