    In Game Name:
    _Icyshock_
Have you changed your Minecraft username since being banned? If so, what is your previous name:
    N/A
Which of ECC's services are you banned on:
    mc.ecocitycraft.com
    Reason of Ban:
    Moderate Grief
    Rule Violated:
    Griefing
Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:
Not to break blocks or add blocks which would cause someone else in the game uncalled for experiences of negativity.
Reason you feel you think you should be un-banned:
I paid the person in full for the cocoa beans that I put the water on, the very same person knew they were paid in full well before the report was made. The mod saw that log of me paying said person the correct amount and still chose to perm ban me for my first offence which I find grossly unfair considering the grief didn't result in any misplaced or broken blocks. On top of that I explained it was purely innocent and that I made a mistake, not knowing that being in a faction that you can grief, I didn't know my water bucket would actually go down and I paid the person back. The ban was childish in nature and if I don't get unbanned then that's fine, I can always find another server to play on.

@_Icyshock_, I am glad you are interested in rejoining the server. First I am going to need you to please copy and paste the entire rule you broke from the rules section of our wiki into the Rule Violated section. Then we can get started on getting you back online :)

    Clause 1 - Griefing
    • Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you.
      • Grief is not allowed in protected towns, unless the town owner has decided otherwise. In the event a grief occurs in a non-grief town then a grief report can be filed here: Grief Report and Rollback Request
        • If a town allows grief then all residents must be informed before joining the town.
    • When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback.
    • Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief.
    • Please see Section 7 for rules regarding grief in the Aether, Nether and Mining World.

@_Icyshock_, thank you for your patience. As you can see, grief is taken very seriously on our server. I am sorry there seems to have been some kind of misunderstanding, but I am sure you're now aware of how serious it is and welcome back on to our server :)
