Reason: using a mob trap

Counter-Reason: I found on a spawner when in the mining world looking for spawners since mobs never seem to spawn in the mining world. Well, they don't for me anyway, but maybe other players have more luck with that. I didn't realise it was actually a mob trap since the spiders didn't fall far enough to nearly kill them, I just thought it was a place with safe spots that seriously got in the way of killing the spiders quickly. I was tempted to build up the floor but didn't want to ruin someone else's building even though griefing is allowed in the mining world because I know it's frowned upon. I thought mob traps were all about nearly killing the mob or sending several spawners to a single area and as such didn't realise that was what I was using. Especially since it took quite a few hits for me to kill the spiders, but maybe my character is just lame at fighting. My apologies for not being better informed. I have never deliberately broken a server rule and would like to be unbanned. I will know in future that mob traps are more than I thought they were from the conclusion I drew from reading the server rules.

That seems rather extreme for a misunderstanding and spending very little time at the mob spawner. I don't know the exact amount of time, but I was only there long enough to gain a handful of levels of exp.
