Minecraft Username: dwite12 Reason of Ban: Melon Sword theft Rule violated: Clause 1.4 and 3.2.2 Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: 1.4-Theft and safety: Items left in unlocked chests are fair game, and it is your responsibility to lock them. The part of that i broke is that the melon sword was part of an agreement to rent it out, and i failed to return it and instead stole and transferred the sword to an alternate account, which is highly illegal. 3.2.2: Scamming: Attempting to scam users is highly illegal and is an automatic ban offense. If a user is found to be attempting a scam, and will be banned immediately. What i did was attempt to scam the user by saying the sword was broken and transferring the sword to an alt account, xDLucario. Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I feel like i should be unbanned because what I did was wrong, and I plan to make it right. The users i've hurt in the situation, shouldn't go through that type of stress, and i plan to make it right. The sword has been returned, but if i can do anything to repay the user i will do it. I would be willing to make a contract to repay said user, and would complete it within the alotted timeframe. Thank you for reading my appeal.

Hello @dwite12 This is a very serious ban reason. Not only did you steal block_crusher's melon sword, but you also attempted to cover it up and then actively lied in the complaint to both block & staff. This shows a complete lack of respect for everyone involved. Similarly, your ban history makes for anything but pleasant reading regarding scamming/breach of contracts. I hope that this saga has made it clear that trying to be 'clever' and moving items between accounts is fruitless. The staff team are not idiots and it is pointless to try and beat the system. You will be found out. As the sword has been returned, I am going to be unbanning you but with a 7 day tempban. Please note that this sort of behaviour will not be tolerated anymore, especially considering the length of time that you have been on ECC. Locked - dwite12's ban reduced to a 7day tempban
