Reason:I was banned for inappropriate language.
Counter-Reason: I didn't realize that swearing was not allowed in private chats, and the player I swore at has been stalking and harassing me since I bought a plot in his town, almost a month ago. I since left his town and found a safer place, only to have him find me there, and continue being a total creep. Tonight he messaged me, giving me more grief, and I had had enough, and clearly just telling him to go away wasn't good enough, as I had been doing so up to this point, so I told him to leave me alone, in some terms I thought he may understand.
If I had been able to capture evidence of him being a creep, and stalking me throughout this server I would have posted that a long time ago.
I did talk to a moderator via online chat a few days ago, but I doubt that's anything solid enough to go on.

I was there for much of it and can attest to how unsafe the person that requested she be banned was making her. The person that lodged the complaint against her actually spied on her in a number of occasions, and even paid another person to spy on her after she had told him to go away numerous times.
In essence, given the situation, what you're banning her for is not that she swore, but that she was trying to defend herself from someone who was invading her space, and destroying her love of the game, and enjoyment of the server. She had told him to leave her alone on numerous previous occasions, and he had repeatedly ignored those requests. She had taken it to a moderator, attempting to get it resolved in a more peaceful manner, attempting to get it resolved the right way, but was told that there was nothing that they could do. Banning her now, for telling him to leave her alone in a way that he was sure to understand is cruel and un-justified, and I support this appeal whole heartedly.

    Hello Chloe_Rhyce,

This does seem to be an interesting situation we have here. Though no matter what you have to deal with, the server offers a "/ignore <name>" command to block messages from players you do not want to talk to. If you have feel you are being harassed to a point that you can not deal with, call a moderator or post a complaint on the forums and let the staff handle it. I do not know the situation that happens before this, but on the complaint that was submitted on you, showed you using language that is not allowed on this server in any way. While you are waiting for a supermod+ to review this case, I would recommend you take a moment to read up on the server rules, found here.

    Rule Broken:
    Left unlocked for a supermod+.

Sadly, LordGraendal, the staff cannot act without proof, and the only information we were given was of the directed vulgarity. Even in a frustrating situation, there are levels that we just cannot tolerate.

Chloe_Rhyce, as this appears to be your first offense, I will unbaned you with time served offline as enough punishment this time. Please keep in mind what generaljoecool has suggested regarding /ignore, and, should things continue beyond this incident, take screenshots, notify staff, and let us help you instead of it getting this far.
