Good point. What was I supposed to do? Someone lost a tool, something that happens often. Usually when people lose tools the borrower has to repay them [X] amount in [X] amount of time. And since I was pretty sure obble had enough money to cover something like this (I didn't know exactly how much or what he does/did with it) I wasn't overly worried, since obble was known quite well as a wealthy member.

 

1) Nobody told me when they wanted to withdraw investments, I was told after they happened. And the amount of work it would take to have an "Amount held by user" would be massive, and something that would have to updated constantly, when it's not particularly necessary if you trust other members in a business.
2) As I said before, I didn't take them seriously because me and obble has been talking about paying back everyone and sorting out all the financial things so I didn't think it meant anything.

Yes, as I have said before, I didn't know it would be quite as hard as it is to make money and be an effective staff member and member of the community. If I had known this, I would not have applied.

Fair enough. Just think though, if he had paid off the Eff 7 like I thought he would, would those comments be a big issue to you? But I see your point.

Another good point, since I agree with most people that I couldn't really have been pushed to stand quite like that, that must be how I was standing when going afk, not really breaking any rules, but a fair point.

Yeah, I apologize for that. I just don't like a lot of users constantly slandering me and calling me a scammer as if it was all my fault. From this appeal I see the damage this incident has done and I apologize for my earlier behaviour.

That's the thing about this appeal. There is no solid evidence on either side, which made this appeal into what it is right now.

 

I didn't scam. How could you say I did? Did I have any money to scam? No. So why should I be punished as a scammer?

Yes, one of them did. As I have said many times, I thought it was a joke, as obble and I had been talking about sorting the financial stuff out. I should have seen it coming, but I didn't and I apologize for that too.

Not sure what you mean by the first question, but what I did for the Vault of ECC was noting down any loans or investments after they happened. I didn't handle the loans/investments themselves, just noted them down in a spreadsheet.

I understand it is far fetched, but I have told the truth. Admins can check logs and see I was afk.

 

Thanks Disconnection. I have on obligation from andrew to listen though, so there's no ignoring it. I was mostly an off-peak staff, you wouldn't have noticed me as much (due to timezones). I have agreed to do my absolute best to make it up to as many people as possible.

 

I will take any punishment I am given, I am just trying my best to make it right. I also don't know what you mean with "all the lies in this thread" but that's your opinion.

 

Oh believe me, I will sell all the towns I currently own to help people in this. I agree my leaving staff whether permanent or for a very long time, I breached a level of staff trust that can't be easily replaced, if at all.

The loan was to a person I deemed as a friend and he seemed in need of money. I shouldn't have given this loan though, that's true.

Agreed, I'll be selling all my towns to help the relief fund anyway.

I was planning on resigning soon too anyway. I couldn't have anticipated what he did, how was I supposed to stop it? I know I have a steep mountian to climb, but I'm willing to give it a go.
