Reason of Ban: Major greif in the town of aceofspades

    Rule violated: Griefing

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: griefing is when you destroy/alter property not of your ownership or permitted bounds.

Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I think I should be unbanned because I was given that property from the town owner after the original owner was banned for greif so I could be compensated. But apparently the town owner has decided to backstab me and file a greif report. If I was wrong in destroying the house I take full responsibility but I maintain my case that i was informed of it's transfer to me directly from town owner @CaptinCupcake11

What do you mean rule in question? I don't have a question about the rule but mainly what i griefed in the town. Also after reviewing my grief report it is clear that the mayor of the town has knowledge of who owns the plot and i was informed ingame of my ownership of this plot being official. I would like the owner of the town to respond to this thread (the owner is @CaptinCupcake11 ) because I would hope this isn't an in-game backstab.

I was referring to the rule violated, to copy/past that here, as it will speed up the appeal process.

Ok thanks for that. I would like to get this cleared up faster because of the shock of this ban. Also another reference material would be the chat logs because I believe me and @CaptinCupcake11 has talked in local chat at aceofspades within a week.

P.S. Can I request that @CaptinCupcake11 not lwc remove me before this is handled because I have a feeling that she/he will. Also I can add you or other admins to a conversation in which @CaptinCupcake11 cupcake acknowledges my ownship of the items in @Ragoi__ 's plot.

    P.P.S. is this perma?

Rule Violated (I'm assuming this is what you wanted copy/pasted):
    Clause 1 - Griefing

      • Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you.
        • Grief is not allowed in protected towns, unless the town owner has decided otherwise. In the event a grief occurs in a non-grief town then a grief report can be filed here: Grief Report and Rollback Request
          • If a town allows grief then all residents must be informed before joining the town.
      • When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback.
      • Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief.
      • Please see Section 7 for rules regarding grief in the Aether, Nether and Mining World.

Hello @Gmoneyman118, I'm glad you wish to appeal your ban. As you may know, major grief is a serious offense. I will be giving you a 1 day temp ban and in that time I hope you read over the rules. Don't let this happen again. Welcome back to EcoCityCraft!
