Reason of Ban:


Banned by an operator. (was Told by nicit6 a while ago that it was due to me apparently bypassing jon_woot’s ban.)



Rule violated:


Clause 2 - Multiple Accounts

· Multiple accounts used by different people on the same internet connection/IP are allowed.

· An individual person playing on multiple accounts is allowed so long as no financial benefits arise from doing so. There must be absolutely no financial interaction between multiple accounts that you own.

· If there are multiple accounts on the same internet connection/IP, either used by you or others, you must contact a member of staff immediately to inform them.

· Users may be questioned for being on the same internet connection, or, in cases of suspicious activity and bans, immediately banned regardless of the reason for the same connection, to be appealed with an explanation.




Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:


Although I could not find a specific rule for bypassing a ban I do understand the reasoning behind it as well as the Clause 2 – Multiple accounts. Multiple accounts may be used by the same or different people on the some IP address as long as no there are no financial benefits. If multiples accounts are on the same IP at any time, then staff must be contacted. Users may be banned right away for being on the same IP due to suspicious activity and shall have to be appealed with an explanation at a later date.



Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned:


Main reason: I did not contact a staff member before my cousin (jon_woot) came over to my house to play on his account as well. And for that I deeply apologize for the inconvenience. As jon_woot broke a rule and got banned, I was also banned for no wrong-doing.



My plea:

Again I know if one does not follow the standard policy of letting a staff member know when someone else will be playing on your IP address this problem happens. I am at fault for the lack of this action and my only reasoning is that I had no prior knowledge to this disclosure rule last year.


Next I would like to prove that I was not bypassing jon_woot’s ban by creating another account. Jon_woot had his own confliction on this server and as we have a similar name his dislikes with the community at times got pushed onto me (as can be seen with this ban).

I can honestly say that we are TWO different people. We played together at each others houses and our grandparent’s house. We each have only ONE account and no more. We have no need to purchase another account and don’t take strives to bypass verdicts. Here is our two xbox live accounts. I do not disrespect other players or inflict damage with the other rules in fact the reason why I love this server so much is because of the community ( and the stock market J ). I have talked to jon_woot and he will not take the time to write an appeal and there is nothing I can do. While trying not to sound demanding, may I please ask for the IP ban to be removed and if jon_woot is not willing to create his own appeal to just keep his account banned instead. I am sorry for this outcome and plead that I may one day be able to come back on the server after all of this time.
