All chat is to go into the appropriate channel at all times. Any user who is consistently not using the correct channel, especially in a way that may disturb those attempting to use certain channels, may be removed from the channel and/or punished. Clause 1.2 - Advertising

  • Advertising is strictly prohibited in our chat system for any kind of external product, Minecraft server, or anything else non-EcoCityCraft related.
    • External products may be mentioned, so long as they are not being advertised. Other Minecraft servers may not be mentioned under any circumstance.
  • Any advertisement that is allowed on the server in any form (including, but not limited to, in-game related items/trades, store advertisements, or personal livestreams that are completely and only EcoCityCraft related) must go into our Trade Channel, and must always abide by our trade channel rules for length and repetition.

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:
Advertising means mentioning another server's IP adress or mentioning it in general to draw a player from this server to another. Which would result in the player liking the other place and staying there instead of staying here. This drops player count and could be bad for the server. ECC needs community members and to have someone basically showing someone a better server or a server that they feel is fun is considered a ban-able offense. What I did was I simply came onto EcoCityCraft and pm'd @Joliver in a friendly talk because I haven't seen him in awhile and said "Give me all you money on >server acronym<". He warned me not to mention other servers and I did not continue any further, I simply logged off. Any other claimed accounts of myself advertising is a mystery to me, I come on the server to say hi to people and socialize. Sorry for the inconvenience that I have bestowed on any staff member who had to deal with me.

Reason you feel you think you should be un-banned:
I have no bad intentions with this server, you guys haven't done me wrong. I like to see servers develop and grow. Yes I may have said an acronym of a server once but, I've seen many others do the exact thing. But I'm not writing this part to sell out others, I want to say that I truly like seeing the progress on ECC, it inspires me. I want to hang around with the community members I truly enjoy being around, like @SuburbSomeone. I feel I won't break this rule again because frankly breaking rules isn't really my forte. Anyways best of wishes o/
