In Game Name: lemonman971Have you changed your Minecraft username since being banned? If so, what is your previous name: NoWhich of ECC's services are you banned on: MinecraftReason of Ban: Use of modified clientRule Violated: Clause 1 - Hacking and Hacked Clients Fly, speed, air build, teleport hacking, or any other types of hacks, are not tolerated. This includes x-ray hacking and x-ray texture packs. Using any unfair means (including glitches, bugs, and exploits) to get into server buildings is also not allowed and is unfair to other users. Using any clients, specifically hacked clients, which may allow you to gain unfair advantages as deemed by ECC staff is strictly prohibited. Users caught using any client deemed to be a "hacked client", as defined by and at the discretion of the staff, will be banned. There is no excuse for using a hacked client on EcoCityCraft whatsoever. Discussion of hacked clients is not allowed - we do not allow them, and therefore we do not discuss them. Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: Hacking of any kind is not tolerated on the server.Reason you feel you think you should be un-banned: Well, I wasn't hacking. I don't use hacked clients now, nor have I ever. I had just won an event hosted by Andrew and won a $30 shop credit for the ECC shop. I believe the provider of the evidence was upset that I won the event, and took a video of me celebrating at the end as a form of pseudo evidence that I was hacking. I have dedicated a lot of time to this community since I joined and would have no reason to risk the hours upon hours of time I have put into it. The evidence provided to me by the banning staff member does not whatsoever show sufficiently beyond shadow of a doubt that I was hacking. All it shows is me moving my mouse side to side and punching in celebration because a few friends were there waiting for me incase I won. The video will be linked below Let's also notice the fact that shortly into the video, someone comes in immediately punching the air around the 8 second mark. Also, there is a considerable time delay from when I appear to when I start punching. If I was hacking, it would have been immediate upon me being in range to hit someone. I'll reiterate, this video does not at all represent me using a hacked client or any hacks in general being used. We can't just ban everyone who spam punches and shakes their mouse. That would be ridiculous, I have even seen staff members emulate the same motions.
Hello yes, I thought I'd give my personal opinion on this appeal as I was the one who recorded the video and posted it so why don't we break this appeal down. First off; Now you were celebrating at the end by using what appears to be kill-aura? I'm not sure what you're getting at here. You called my evidence false or counterfeit, I'm not understanding of this either as I don't see how it could of been fake. Secondly; You moving your mouse side to side? Yeahhhh let's go with that. You moving your mouse side to side while consistantly hitting the only 2 people that are near and moving your mouse to the same exact spot every time. You also said Not sure what this has to do with anything but why would you be moving your mouse side to side while hitting the only 2 players there win you won as a form of celebration. After that; This has absolutely nothing to do with the topic, there is nothing to notice. On the other hand you stated; The server takes time to move you from where you were in sg to the sg join area. Once you are loaded in hacks would be turned on. Finally; You weren't spam punching and shaking your mouse, you were hitting the other players at the exact time that you looked at them and moved your head. Your head was snapping, there was no motion in between it moving. tl;dr you claimed that you weren't hacking and you were moving your mouse side to side and hitting the players as a form of celebration. I find that to be bullshit.
Oh god where do I start. Your evidence is false, because it's simply not evidence. Yes, I was celebrating by punching rapidly and moving my mouse. I do it frequently, not just in Minecraft, it's just a thing I do. Yes, my face was turning to the same spot back and forth, but I can't rapidly adjust the amount of space I have to move my mouse. I used the example of someone coming in and punching as such. That guy is clearly not hacking, correct? So why am I clearly hacking if he isn't? I'm sorry that I beat you, but I did. It's as simple as that, and I did it fairly. There's always going to be competition in life and you should get used to losing once in a while as it does happen. Also, as pretty and organized as your response it, it doesn't hide the fact that half of your responses were basically just copy and pasted sentences.
There is pretty much only 1 thing revelant in this responce and this it it; You were "Clearly hacking" because you hit every single hit at the exact same timing every single time, It's not one punch like the other guy. It's consistant and you are hitting the exact spot every single time, it's not just one punch like the other guy, it was consistant. This will be my final responce as I'd not like to start a flame war. mods see edit history
Well, minecraft animations do have limits afterall, I was clicking rather fast so thats either just that I was tapping in some accidental rythym, or that the animations didn't keep up with it. Also, I'd love to know who you are to decide what in MY appeal is relevant and what is not. Furthermore, if the video is slowed down to 25% speed. I am clearly turning my head. If I was using Kill-Aura as you stated would it not instantly jerk my head like a Call of Duty aimbot?
I think you are literally a potato if you can make a hacking for sure decision on the following, 1. 4 seconds of video 2. Literally no hacking advantage shown in the video 3. Trying to pin him for hacking off of his word play.
Thank you for taking the time to appeal. Looking over the evidence again, I've decided that while the evidence provided is suspicious, it was not enough to ban for. I'll be unbanning you. I'm sorry that you were banned with insufficient evidence.
