Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: This means that I should not show any prejudice to others or show any racist behaviour; and that I should understand that this is considered very serious. Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: Although I now see that typing a swastika in chat was not a good decision, would you ban someone with no warning for typing a Wheel of Dharma or a Christan cross in the chat (they might get a warning for spam)? Although the swastika is now seen as a symbol of Nazism to most, it is still heavily associated with the Hindu religion by many and I meant no disrespect to anyone by typing it in chat. (and isn't banning someone for typing a religious symbol in chat prejudicial to that religion?). Although this was probably almost against other rules about starting flame wars, that part was unintentional and I feel that I should have been given at least one warning considering that all I did was type a religious symbol in chat. I think I have fully justified my reasons for an appeal.
The symbol you've used is directly linked to Nazism. I feel you should know what the citizens of the U.S, U.K, and Canada portray the symbol as, and how it could be very offensive to some. I'd also like to point out that symbols themselves aren't allowed in chat, especially when taken out of context. I honestly don't know within what circumstances this happened, but here is a rule that could've also applied: If I was to post, the following line in chat: "卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐" It'd be very different from posting: "Peace to all 卐 卐 卐" Now, on the other hand, I must plead your case. As you seem to be a new player, you might not know about the issues going on ECC with the swastika symbol. A lot of griefing, and alternate account of permanently banned players have been using the symbol as a way of harassing other users, and within inappropriate builds. Just so you know, typing symbols in chat and discussing any religious topics are against the rules. I know you're a new user however posting that symbol in chat would lead us to believe that you meant the symbol for the negative connotation that is usually associated with it. With these two rules in mind, please remember it in the future and do not repeat the action that got you banned.
