Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: dont bend the rules (sorry this is the only rule that i think i may have broken) dont impersonate other users because they may not like it/ feel uncomfortable with it Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: honestly i dont see why i was banned i made sure to ask the user i was changing my name to (or similar to) before changing the name and they said ok. so i really dont know why i was banned for having a similar name as another user even though the other user was ok with it........ I also have seen many other close usernames that even though they have not been changed it seemed as though the mods would have allowed it such as if someone was to make their name oxwood1. There were many impersonating ITzXtremeGaming today. I don't see why they didn't get punishment while Matrix did.
Yeah i was completly fine with it, we had no intentions trolling or scamming with it, after being told oxwood1 was fine, whats the difference in changing 1 number in my name?
Il just change my name in one month but as for future reference I suppose the mods should be more warning of what names would and would not be accepted for change because I honestly thought any change was fine after seeing oxwood ( any number) was ok
Hello @matrix__rep Im glad that you want to appeal your ban, Just because a user says you are allowed to have a username or nickname close to theirs, does not mean it is legal, The rules of name changes go hand in hand with the rules that are used for Nickname feature, These are: A few rules have been added after your ban, but still, impersonating a player is not allowed, which has always been in the rules of nickname feature. Although yours is a name change, the rules still apply, if you say that you didnt know these were the rules for both, it doesnt take a brain surgeon to figure out that they probably do have the same guidelines/rules. As for others who are doing the same thing, saying and doing are two different things, always make sure with a higher up, especially something new such as name changes, that the name you are suggesting is allowed, otherwise you will face high consequences of not being able to get back on the server for quite a while. Because of this, we cannot allow you back on the server until the name has been changed to not impersonate another player. Denied Mission001
