mrjeffster16 I was banned because i was accused of advertising my server to people on ECC. The rule i apparently broke was the rule that prohibits advertising. I don't think I should be banned because I was not advertizing at all. It may have looked like I was, but that was not my objective by any means at all. I was having problems setting up my server so I was asking questions if anyone had any help they could offer. I wasn't asking them the join my server, like a real advertiser would, I was simply asking for answers on why my server wasn't working properly. I thought it was going nicely at first because a supermod (Oreo) asked my why I was asking about IP's. I told him that my server wasn't working properly and I asked him if he had any advice he could give me! Does that sound like a advertiser to you? It sounds more like a kid who's having trouble with his setup, which isn't a big deal. I don' t think it's a big deal to ask people what's wrong with my server as long as I'm not advertising "Go To [*MOD EDIT*] like a REAL advertiser would do. I really hope that you reconsider your choice because ECC my favorite server to go on. I've been a part of it for 3 years almost and I now I don't know what to do with my free time. Yea sure I have a server too but it sucks, it's not as much fun as ECC. Again, I really hope you reconsider you choice to ban me and I'm very sorry if it looked like I was advertising, but you simply got the wrong idea Thank you, mrjeffster16
Hello, The rule you broke is as follows Even if you were not being a "REAL advertiser," you did mention another server, which is not allowed either way. Also, its not a very smart idea to be posting ip addresses in your appeal for advertising. Please appeal with more remorse in your next appeal before we can consider unbanning you. Locked.
