    Reason: I was banned for advertising.

    counter-reason: I made a really bad mistake i shall never do it again for the past year or so i have been banned and all my friends are playing on it and telling me about it and i was soo mad i cant play i hope you accept this one Thank you.

    Evidence: i dont have any. but you can ask Cracker for more info. And im sorry for double posting

    Hello @ScarySam925,

    Upon reviewing your history, I have found that you appealed a ban on December 26th, 2013 (link) where you had also been banned for advertising.

    In your last appeal, you said "I can promise I have learned from this mistake and you guys will never have another issue with me on the server." But we are now dealing with another instance of advertising. This is a very serious situation.

    You were banned almost three months ago, and you are only now appealing your second ban for advertising.

    It is important to recognize that an action was wrong and understand why, beyond the fear of punishment. What may be even more important is to seriously analyze how a problem occurred, and how to avoid this from happening again.

    I would like you to do tell me a few things before we go further with this appeal.
    1. Please quote the rule that was broken.
    2. Explain in your own words why this is bad.
    3. Explain how you can avoid this from happening again. Please do not simply say you are "sorry" and "promise" that it won't happen again. It is probably a good idea to clearly address what happened that led to the advertising, why you did it, and how this can be avoided.

    Clause 1.2 - Advertising
    • Advertising is strictly prohibited in our chat system for any kind of external product, Minecraft server, or anything else non-EcoCityCraft related.
      • Except for mentioning another Minecraft server, mentioning external products is allowed, as long as they are not being advertised.
    • Any advertisement that is allowed on the server in any form (including, but not limited to, in-game related items/trades, store advertisements, or personal livestreams that are completely and only EcoCityCraft related) must go into our Trade Channel, and must always abide by our trade channel rules for length and repetition.
    2. Advertising is bad because it causes people to sometimes lose interest in the server and possibly join other servers. Advertising also help other servers and it doesnt help this one. It also annoys users who play on the server and it creates more work for the staff.
    3. Well now that i have quit other minecraft servers this wouldn't happen again. Also if i advertise again i give you permission to perma ban me. Also what led to me advertising was a promise for better stuff on a server. i was stupid and i realize now how much better this server is.

    Thank you for taking the time to reflect on the situation. In the future, if you are stressed, try to find non-hazardous ways to vent. Advertising other servers is a serious matter. I hope you have learned from this experience, and can remain a productive member on EcoCityCraft.
