The only thing I know is you when you double clicked the mod it installed itself. But it's a 'hack' apparently so I violated that rule.Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: 'Hacking' is unfair against other players which I know.Reason you feel you think you should be un-banned: I know it's hard to believe but anyways here you go: I used to play on realms with my friend (not revealing his identity) and he send me this mod trough skype telling me I could see the coordinates on my screen with that mod since we always went strip-mining. It was the only thing he told me! Apparently it was the xray mod but I didn't know. So I admit I had the mod installed and ready for use but since I didn't know anything more about it exept it showed coordinates, I never used the actual xray and god knows what other things it can do. If I knew it was xray, I wouldn't have been dumb enough to post a screenshot where everyone could see it. Of course after I everyone told me it was xray I changed profiles. But got banned anyways. Hard to believe I know if someone told me the same I wouldn't believe it either. In short: I knew I was using a mod but I didn't know it was xray.

For Shernalsteen his defence, I believe the xray mod is an auto-installer. If he installed it thinking it was a mod that showed him only his coordinates I think he just made an honest mistake.
With hacked clients such as X-ray, features of the hack-pack (if you will) are toggled with keys on the keyboard. Generally, x is the toggle for x ray. I've played around with these in single player and it's a very distinct control panel to toggle, and why would you get banned unless you were actually xraying? It's just not adding up :/
I know that's true, but if he has the mod since the beginning of his carreer as ECC member i'd think he would be Tycoon by now . He made most of his money by non-mining activity I believe. So it's fair to say he won't download any sort of mods again after this incident.
Doubt he would be tycoon... But honestly there is literally no way you dont realise you have xray... You would have to be blind
