'Usage' of a illegal mod (xray)​

I violated 6.1 clause 1
I didn't use a hacked client though. The only thing I know is you when you double clicked the mod it installed itself. But it's a 'hack' apparently so I violated that rule.​

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:

Reason you feel you think you should be un-banned:

I know it's hard to believe but anyways here you go: I used to play on realms with my friend (not revealing his identity) and he send me this mod trough skype telling me I could see the coordinates on my screen with that mod since we always went strip-mining. It was the only thing he told me! Apparently it was the xray mod but I didn't know.
So I admit I had the mod installed and ready for use but since I didn't know anything more about it exept it showed coordinates, I never used the actual xray and god knows what other things it can do. If I knew it was xray, I wouldn't have been dumb enough to post a screenshot where everyone could see it. Of course after I everyone told me it was xray I changed profiles. But got banned anyways. Hard to believe I know if someone told me the same I wouldn't believe it either. In short: I knew I was using a mod but I didn't know it was xray.​
