Reason of Ban : Moderate Grief In Town Of Straw Valley
Rule violated : Griefing
What I think this rule means : This rule means that I am not allowed to grief (or destroy) any property that does not belong to me. Also it means that I cannot break into one's house or building to gain access to another part of the map.
Why I should be unbanned : I should be unbanned because it was not an intentional grief. I forgot to re-plant the community farm and I feel really bad. If I get unbanned I will find the mayor of my town and give her the seeds asap and never forget to replant. Thank you for consideration..

I have read over this carefully and I do acknowledge and agree with them. @WeirdBuilder
Clause 1 - Griefing
- Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you.
- Grief is not allowed in protected towns, unless the town owner has decided otherwise. In the event a grief occurs in a non-grief town then a grief report can be filed here: Grief Report and Rollback Request
- If a town allows grief then all residents must be informed before joining the town.
- Grief is not allowed in protected towns, unless the town owner has decided otherwise. In the event a grief occurs in a non-grief town then a grief report can be filed here: Grief Report and Rollback Request
- When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback.
- Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief.

Alright, thank you for appealing @mac22287. As you are now aware, we do not tolerate griefing on ECC whatsoever. Grief is not fair to any of the users involved in the situation, when they are simply minding their own business. Say someone were to spend 16 hours total constructing a building, when all of a sudden you come around just to destroy it. Imagine the disappointment and sadness you would have just created for the user that took the time and effort to build that structure.
However, I am willing to give you another chance to correct your actions. Since you appear to be truly remorseful, I will be Temp-Banning you for a total of 6 hours. During this time, I ask that you read over all of our server rules to ensure that you will not do this again. I would also recommend making amends with the user who griefed, however, that is up to you.
I hope to see you soon.
