In the event a grief occurs in a non-grief town then a grief report can be filed here: Grief Report and Rollback Request If a town allows grief then all residents must be informed before joining the town. When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback. Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: destroy objects without putting them back Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I honestly had no idea that I had to replant, I was never informed, I love this server so that is why I want to get back on. I have made many friends on this server, I have played a lot on it and it would be truly a shame to not be able to go back on. I am very sorry to anyone I offended or grieved on my time on ECC. I hope to see you guys back on ECC soon. I love everything on this server, the lotto, the sg, the kits (I have spypp and ccl btw) and don't forget the economy. I think I will quit mine craft if I don't get back on. Anyway, hope to you see you guys soon.
Hi Max, I'm glad to see you've appealed. First off I'd like to thank you for editing your post and including more details. After conducting another investigation at the site in which you griefed, I will be reducing your ban to a 1 day temp. Whether you griefed intentionally or unintentionally, what you had done still ultimately falls under the grief category. Don't think that you're off the hook with a 1 day temp ban. During this time, I'd still like you to review the server rules which can be found here. More specifically spend time reviewing the rules and policies regarding grief. Regardless whether or not the town mayor had informed you to replant at the farm, I'd assume it'd be pretty self explanatory to do so. After visiting the town, it was clear that the farm in the town was a public farm for the town members to use. As a builder, you agreed in your Resident application that you had read the rules. I expect you to honor your words, and pledge to demonstrating your firm understanding of the rules from here on out. Take this as a reminder; as I can assure you if an issue similar to this arrises again in the near future it will not be handled this leniently.
