This includes anything put on signs, said in chat, written in books, renamed to on items (see Section 3 Clause 2.1), spelt out in blocks (see Section 2, Clause 2.1), or any other way of communicating. Occasional mild to moderate vulgarities that are not directed at anyone (such as "slip-ups" or saying them in the incorrect chat by accident), self-censorship of a swear word or abbreviations that may imply a swear word (eg. WTF?) are allowed unless it is directed at another user. Repeated or excessive swearing, and especially vulgar language directed at anyone, is not tolerated under any circumstance. Racist language or prejudicial language of any sort falls under the vulgarity rule, and is considered a very serious offence, punishment of which may not warrant a warning before being given a ban, Spoiler: Section 2 - Griefing, Trolling and Harassment Clause 2 - Trolling Trolling is not allowed on the server, especially any trolling that is directed towards another user. This includes, but is not limited to: Flame baiting Harassment (See Section 2 Clause 3.) Cyber-bullying Attempts to start any form of chaos and discord within the server. Clause 3 - Harassment Harassment constitutes as any form of action (chat or game play wise) that makes another player feel threatened or otherwise ruins their game play. Griefing in the wild does not constitute harassment. Harassment in the wild is strictly chat/command based. This includes, but is not limited to; blackmail, bullying or any other form of harassment that occurs through our chat system. Attempting to kill other players in any non-PvP zone also constitutes as harassment, and succeeding in killing other players in non-PvP areas is a very severe offence that will result in a ban. Harassment is absolutely inexcusable on EcoCityCraft. If you are engaging in this behavior expect to be removed from the server with little to no warning. Disrespecting staff falls under this rule - They are players too. Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: The three above rules mean that while using any service of ecocitycraft, especially in-game, you shouldn't swear and you should have enough respect for other players to not troll and disrespect them. As well, you should not cross the line while speaking to anyone in chat. Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I feel as though I should be unbanned because I strongly regret my actions over the past week and a half. I have been nothing but a pest to other users, and many staff members. I treated you all horribly and I would like to say from the bottom of my heart, that I am sorry. I don't know what has gotten over me, but it hasn't been the real me. Two days ago, I said I would change for the better. And I did for the most part. I had one slip up with a SuperMod and that was what put me over the edge. To you, I am sorry for the PMs I sent you after the incident occurred. From here on I will attempt to be like myself back in 2013 when I was a moderator. I will be a positive influence on the community and not a pest. Thank you for appealing, however your actions in the past couple weeks have been completely uncalled for. I've been seeing how you're acting in-game in global, local, you name it. Occasionally harassing others about SG, calling hacks, etc. That alone was unacceptable. However when I looked into it further, I noticed something even more root down that was even worse. Not only were you harassing others, you were using vulgar language directly to players in pm. Pming users vulgar language and constantly harassing them about SG resulted in one person (if not more) becoming so agitated that they too started using vulgar language in chats. Like seriously? Harassing someone bad enough to make them break rules? That's just ridiculous. You have had 3 complaints that went through recently. All of them had the same actions, same words. I also had a private complaint to me, which is what led to your ban. And you said it directly to a Staff member. You used the same words there as well, along with being verbally abusive towards them. When you said one slip up? No. There were several toward the same SuperMod. The first time they said something they didn't have evidence of it happening, so I told them to send anything they get to me. Clearly the first time of them telling you to knock if off wasn't enough. Then this time when they said not to use the kind of language you used, you continued to abuse them. Honestly, this appeal does not have enough honesty nor effort for me to even begin consider to accept it. Your actions, like I said, were uncalled for. And even warning after warning you chose to not heed them. I will be denying your appeal. You may not appeal for 24 hours. During this time, think about what you've done, and actually write an appeal where you're honest. Denied - May not appeal for 24 hours from this post.
