Reason of Ban: Autofishing

Section 6 - Hacking, Exploits and Unfair Play
Clause 4 - Third Party Programs, Auto-Clicking, Auto-Farming, etc.

  • The use of third party programs that create any form of advantage that does not require you to do work while playing Minecraft is strictly prohibited, and can result in a ban.
  • EcoCityCraft staff have measures in place to test for users auto-clicking and using third party programs. Users caught auto-clicking, auto-fishing, using an aimbot, or any other distinct advantage to exploit game play will be punished appropriately.
  • Any form of auto money generation, including, but not limited to, auto-farming and auto-fishing, is completely prohibited by any means.
  • If you are caught using macros or clients to generate money without having to do any work, you will be punished, up to and including the extent of being permanently banned and having everything you own wiped off the server.
  • Be warned that we take this very seriously.

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: The rules are guide lines set for players to follow for multiple reasons. For one, this is an economy server, meaning any kind of hacking/exploits above are 100% illegal. There are rules for many things which include vulgarity, harassment, hacked clients to pass through walls our x-ray while mining. A lot of these might seem so small and harmless to some but in reality they are all things that must be banned to keep an economy server rising. If everyone was running around with hacked clients this server would crash. Wouldn't be fun anymore.

Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: Am I asking to unbanned ? Not exactly, what I did was a serious threat to the economy. It was stupid and I wasn't thinking straight. As I've said to many the past couple weeks I've recently deleted star tools. With the accidental /ci of course. After the first one, it wasn't a big deal because I had enough assets and things to sell to make enough money to rent a star pickaxe from another player and spent my hours mining again. I enjoy using star rods for the experience so I bought another one on a payment plan. I screwed myself once again because I forgot to remove the powertool I had assigned to a blaze rod (/ci) some how some way I clicked it for whatever reason and poof. Another one gone and at this point I had nothing that could make me money. 650k debt was what I was worried about. I had nothing to sell. I could have spent my time mining with a max fortune pickaxe and get all the money to pay off this debt but I didn't have the time either. The past couple weeks I've been working a lot and trying to balance my time with spending it with my wife as well. So I was ready to give up but talking to another player, they were so kind to allow me to borrow their star rod. I was so excited but realized again. Star rods are lesser money maker of the star tools. It isn't about fun anymore (fishing mobs for heads and exp) I had to actually make a lot of money with this. So I looked in to autofishing and began to use it. I should have expected this to happen but I almost felt like If I didn't use it I would have been banned anyways for not paying off the debt..

This player that loaned me the star rod, my most sincere apologies. I let her down and used her in a way. I don't expect any kindness or an unban for what I've done. If I am truly gone forever I would like to pay the person I owed, off seeing as how I had the rest of the money to pay them (150k) and would also like to give the star tool back. Also give away anything else I have. If not the last part, may I please at least pay off the debt and return the tool. If I am unbanned, it would be greatly appreciated and I would never do this again. I've spent so much time in to this server I would hate to just see it all disappear in to thin air. However, this is not my choice as I am the one who wronged the server. Whatever happens, thank you for a great two years, thank all the great players I've met and I hope this server thrives and rises to the top. Everyone deserves to experience this community. I am sorry for those that I have let down for doing this.
