Reason of Ban: Trolling and using alt accounts to bypass

Clause 2 - Trolling

  • Trolling is not allowed on the server, especially any trolling that is directed towards another user. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Flame baiting
    • Harassment (See Section 2 Clause 3.)
    • Cyber-bullying
    • Attempts to start any form of chaos and discord within the server.

Clause 2 - Multiple Accounts

  • Multiple accounts used by different people on the same internet connection/IP are allowed.
  • An individual person playing on multiple accounts is allowed so long as no financial benefits arise from doing so, and no account belonging to that player is banned. There must be absolutely no financial interaction between multiple accounts that you own.This includes but is not limited to:
    • Adding alt accounts as owners/members of regions you own.
    • Direct or indirect transactions (via /pay, trade signs, etc).
  • If any account owned by a player is banned, all the other accounts owned by that player will not be able to appeal until the account banned first has successfully appealed.
    • Exceptions may be made to this in certain scenarios such as inappropriate username bans.
  • If there are multiple accounts on the same internet connection/IP, either used by you or others, you must contact a member of staff immediately to inform them.
  • Users may be questioned for being on the same internet connection, or, in cases of suspicious activity and bans, immediately banned regardless of the reason for the same connection, to be appealed with an explanation.

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:

Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: First of all I think the extension of my ban from 3 hours -> straight up ban is ridiculous. I merely went onto request that my alt accounts were banned as my friends have access to those accounts and I can't change their passwords due to email issues. I didn't plan to properly bypass the ban.

So why should I be unbanned? Well you see I've done a great deal of contribution to the community, I just served a 3 month and a bit period of being staff where I honestly put in 100% everyday. After I resigned there was a great amount of freedom put onto me, and I abused it. For that, I am sorry. Not in a good mood today considering some of the mistreatment I get from some users. I allowed my emotions to control me. I was just having a good time and I took it too far, 7 months or so of being well behaved does that to you. Moving forward, I plan on not doing this again, I'm sorry to the ECC users that were absolutely horrified by my trolling, I will do my best to make it up to you.

 

I also find it sort of ironic that I handled a complaint just an hour ago ;-; Sorry I let you down.

 

One last thing I want to apologise mainly to @Nicit6 and @andrewkm - you two trusted me and I went and did this :/
