I have to say, 98brando is one of the most hardworking and nice players on ECC. He had a balance of -200k and tried to get back from it. Most players would just quit. As long as he apologizes for his actions I support his unban.

Also, I've known 98brando for a long time, probably about 5 or 6 months. His goal is to become a moderator and tycoon. He would never intentionally try to hurt the server. He will keep trying to get unban if you deny his appeal.

Lastly, on a personal level he is honest and fair. He tries to help out everybody and is there for me when I need it. That is all for now, I hope you take this into consideration.

 

Yes 98brando was given the negative balance as a result of spending the unknown scam money. He has worked very hard to pay it off and has continued to love this server throughout this entire ordeal. I do believe if he has disrespected any staff, he is truly sorry for it. He has helped many, many people on the server, including me during my several months here. I sincerely hope he will get another chance.

 

I was the only mod online at the time. Before you were handed the money, for ten straight minutes, general and shouts were absolute chaos about LeeDuncan scamming. LeeDuncan did not say he'd give the money to a "random player", but rather the one he "respected most." Maybe you weren't paying attention to the ten full minutes of madness before he handed you 300k, but you sure as hell were talking after. And literally 9 things in 10 in general chat were about him scamming, about what you were going to do with the scam money, and about how you ought to either give it back to those who were scammed or else just hold it for it to be deducted. And it was another good ten minutes before I got a lid on it. There is *no possible way* you couldn't have known you were receiving illicit funds. And rather than do the right thing, you went and spent it all as quickly as you could.

A super and/or admin will take appropriate action on this.

 

No your wrong brando leeduncan scammed me and took the 150k won the loto of 300k and gave you the scammed money and then you would not pay me back the 150k leeduncan scammed me out of and you just decided to spend it plus people were telling me that you paid him to scamm me cause i did not like your building and andrewkm made your balance that way cause you were spending scammed money on president.

And how did know it was scammed money cause i pmd you that leeduncan scammed me with that money and if you could pay me back the 150k he scammed me with so dont lie

Miner even if this is true, brando now has a negative balance and is paying his dues. It is not his fault you didn't choose a trusted donator, and not his fault if he didn't know it was scam money and just assumed you were begging him for money since leeduncan announced in global that brando was the winner of his 300k.

Clearly his balance set by Andrewkm was appropriate for the action, and then he proceeded to make over 100k in one night, simply to try to make it back to $0. What other user can say they have that dedication? 60% of ECC users of his status would Quit the server and not even worry about it. But did Brando? No, he stayed and worked his tail off trying to right his wrongs. And then was banned as well?? I'm not exactly sure what was happening with the Mod Disrespect, but I personally know Brando, and that does not seem like something he would do. I feel a user with this amount of dedication should be allowed back on our server.
