Minecraft Username: Rev_Worrington Reason: I was banned for what was labeled minor griefing of Hindsiight's 3 10x10 wheat farms located within his open house in the town of Ecoville, a town I was also a part of. Counter-Reason: The griefing mentioned was a simple harvesting of crops left behind by Hindsight in his open home. All that was taken was wheat already planted, and I did not make an attempt to illegally enter the house, it was simply left open. I also had the intent to replant, an action successfully underdone in the town farm undergone by a friend and worker ninjafish44, yet before this was a possibility, Hindsight had logged on and accused me of griefing his open farm. Moreover, after Hindsight had brought it to my attention that he did not appreciate these actions, I not only apologized, but offered to pay for any damages, just as I had done with MisterLegit211 (I had also harvested his open house, and thereinto paid him a total of 2k for farm use and investigator charge). I never received a response from Hindsight either agreeing or disagreeing, even after the Co-Mayor (Yarvascar) of the town had dropped the subject and left the issue alone. The Mayor (coffelatte2) also agreed on the settlement, and I showed him of my available funds to pay for the relatively inexpensive harvesting (3 10x10 of wheat). The issue being minor, I have no issue paying back Hindsight for any damages I have caused. I now see that permission should have been sought first, and due to that, have made numerous attempts to make amends suitable to the damages. I ask that with the statement I have provided and the offer to repay any damages (of which I have calcualated out at 2k for crop and investigator costs, though I am willing to offer more), coupled with the lack of a record for bans and being a upstanding member of the Ecocitycraft server for some time, that I be unbanned. Evidence: Thinking it not an issue, I did not take any screenshots sadly. Ninjafish44 would be happy to provide a testimony on the issue, and MisterLegit211 can verify I reached a settlement with him. Both Yarvarscar and coffelatte2 were on during the time of the issue as well.

Hello there, I am happy to see that you wish to appeal your ban. Before we can move forward, I want you to understand why you were banned. Our server has a strict no-griefing policy in our protected towns: User pay a lot of money to have their towns protected and we only enforce the rules. While I understand that your griefing was only harvesting a farm, it was still griefing. Even if the "house was left open" it is not your property and not your business. If someone came into your farm un-announced and harvested your crops, you would probably be a little peeved too. You cost the other residents of the town time and money which are both a very rare commodity here on ECC. I will be issuing you a 1 hour temp-ban for you to become crystal clear on all our server rules here and the expectations that are aspired from you.
