Minecraft Username: Leivite Reason: Illegal mini map mod Counter-Reason: I was unaware that the mod was illegal, it was referred to me by another player and I had no reason at the time to think it was not allowed. I really feel foolish for not looking into it more, and am extremely sorry for using it, and will remove it without issue. Evidence: I have no evidence of the conversation I had with the other player, it was a couple weeks ago and Im not 100% sure at this time who it was that told me. I have only played MC on this server and have no experience at all with mods or minecraft in general. I just this last couple weeks started trying out texture packs, and just recently got that mini map mod. I am truly sorry that I have made this mistake and hope that the moderators can find it in there hearts to forgive this ignorant noob.
Hello @Leivite Thank you for being honest in your appeal and taking responsibility for using it. Minimaps such as the one you used are illegal as they give unfair advantages to people using them. For that reason they are strictly prohibited. In future I would recommend asking a member of staff to clarify if you are unsure on the legality installing something, however as a general rule of thumb anything which gives an advantage over the vanilla minecraft client is strictly against the rules.
