Except for mentioning another Minecraft server, mentioning external products is allowed, as long as they are not being advertised. Any advertisement that is allowed on the server in any form (including, but not limited to, in-game related items/trades, store advertisements, or personal livestreams that are completely and only EcoCityCraft related) must go into our Trade Channel, and must always abide by our trade channel rules for length and repetition. Advertising is detrimental to the server in many ways. Primarily, it misleads players into joining other servers and it spams their chat. Even if it is done only once, it still greatly and negatively affects the integrity of server chat and those who see it. Advertising is a big deal, and foul ruffians such as I should be punished appropriately. I apologize if I haven't made it clear enough that I am sorry, and regret my mistake. I am aware that advertising is against the rules and I see that it is enforced heavily. However, I ask that you understand the background of the situation; my only intention was to assist a fellow player who expressed that he wanted to try a new server. It was so long ago; although I believe I only typed the server's name, not an IP. Keeping me permabanned because I used the wrong chat is both unnecessary and negates; a. Donations I would've made b. Friends I planned to refer to the server c. Donations my friends would've made A Minecraft server's detrimental over punishing of players is a certain and swift path to self destruction. Believe me, I have witnessed this many times, from many positions. Consider this all a counterargument not to anyone personally, but as an disputation of my unjust permaban two years ago. I agree that Nooborg should be unbanned I trust him alot. It was also an old mistake when he was a young naive little upstart shit. He didn't know anything about Minecraft, it was the days when the flaming hooligans ran wild. And Duck Dynasty was cool.
