Moderators, I understand that interfering with ban appeals is not allowed, however I would like to state one small fact in Philip60's favour, despite the fact that I know I can be warned or banned for it:

As Co-Mayor of his town, it was my duty to check if he was offline for more than 8 days.​

During the holidays, I checked, and he was.​

I am unsure of whether Philip60 was using Nodus before it was made illegal, but he was offline for over a week when it was, and was thus uninformed...until he was banned. Please could you bear this in mind, and I'd assume the server logs can support me, yet sadly I've taken no screenshots of his absence. The Mayor refused to evict him from the town as it was Christmas (generous Mayor).​

Please, please, consider this. I know Philip wouldn't do anything like this if he knew it was against the rules.​

 

Hello Philip, thank you for submitting this appeal, but I would like to start off saying that being unaware of a rule's existence is NOT an excuse for breaking a rule. Although, on ECC, we are very forgiving, given that you seem genuinely sorry I suggest that when you are gone from ECC for extended periods of time, to check up on the rules to make sure that you do not break any rules by accident.

In the meantime, I suggest that you catch up on our server's rules so that this or similar things do not happen again.

As the Moderator that handled this ban I can definitely say that it was much after Nodus had become completely illegal. However that you for your input Matberry, in the future however I would ask that you not comment on a ban appeal that you are not a part of.

 

Thank you for appealing, I've issued you a 3 day temp ban. It was stated http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/rule-change-nodus-and-hacked-clients.34371/#post-156732 that hacked clients were illegal. Please make sure that nodus is removed your your Minecraft client and make sure you've re-read the rules, many rules were updated recently.
