Minecraft username: Bugs2005 Reason for ban: advertising Rule violated: no clue..I didn't commit the crime..don't know how to do what accused of Please explain in your own words what rule means: I'm just a kid...not sure Reason you think you should be unbanned: I don't know how to advertise anything. This is my mom's computer and she lets me use it to play with my friends online.
I am Bugs2005 parent and I created the account for him. I will not allow him to register his personal information and by doing it this way I get to monitor his activities while on-line. He showed me the message when he attempted to log in today after being on your server for the first time and I am trying to help him resolve this. He is not knowledgable enough in computers yet to " advertise" anything and I was with he while he was on-line to confirm he did no such action. I did have a virus detected on my computer when I turned it on for him today, so I am not sure if this was the culprit or not. If your group chooses not to unban him, I will find another server for him and his friend to join and play, no big deal. They were just excited they could actually play together. Like I stated, this was he first time here.
Ok, well the mods are most likely going to ask him to copy and past the rule he broke. I would read over the rules with him and make shure he knows them. p.s. his username is @Bugs2005 so if he was born in 2005 he is about 9(just did the math xD) Good luck getting unbaned!
Thanks....I showed him the rule afterwards, but since he didn't do the action, he doesn't get why he was banned. Trying to explain computer viruses and hackers is a bit much for a kid to comprehend. He just wants to play the games. On average, how long does it take for the moderators to make their decisions? He keeps checking to see if he was unbanned yet.
They will let you know when they start handling the appeal, but there is also a rule here that you are not allowed to "Bump" threads which means repeatedly commenting on the same thread. So, I suggest that you just wait a little bit. We have a great staff team and they are great at doing their job appropriately!
We do not ban for no reason if he advertised it means he advertised another servers ip address or mentioned it by name. Seeing how you claim to be the parent of the user which only happens on occasion for us I will tag our two senior admins who will further assist you. In the mean time please do not bump this appeal as appeals are the lowest on our list of priorities. As for the player base please stop posting on this appeal @loganeric I already deleted your recent post if anyone comments without evidence pertaining to this issue I will be handing out warnings. @Revanrose6 @Unknownrider
After checking the server logs it was found that your son did in fact advertising another server at spawn local. He was banned by one of our GameAdmin's, Stolio. Although you may not have been the one who did the actual advertising, somebody using your account did. Your account is ultimately your responsibility, and you should make sure to protect it so that issues such as this do not arise. For your account's safety, I would recommend changing your account password immediately. After changing your password, I recommend un-checking the 'remember last login' button in the login screen. Please reappeal now that we have confirmed that this actually took place and that your account actually did advertise in game. Also, next time please don't use a poll on your appeal. Locked
