This contract applies to the shared star tools of @CP3fan1 and @MasterNathan Section I. [Tool Ownership] The following tools are in the collective shared chest with their respective owner. (CP3fan1) Star Rod - #K8T765P3 (MasterNathan) Efficieny 7 Pickaxe - #K8XS3MGY Section II. [Liability] The following players agree to the terms laid out in this contract and accept all liability for the items in the chest. They also make up the liable parties of this contract. @CP3fan1 @MasterNathan If a tool is lost, given away, or in any way misplaced, the party at fault will owe the owner of the tool a total of $2.2 million ECD or a tool of equal value. What defines being at fault can vary, but for all intents and purposes, whichever person of the liable parties in this contract held the item in their inventory last will be held accountable for that tool. If What defines being misplaced can also vary, but for the purposes of this contract if a tool is found to not have been in the chest in the last 7 days and the accountable party either has no explanation, cannot be reached, or explains that the tool cannot be recovered, it will be considered misplaced and the accountable person will owe the owner 2.2 million ECD or a tool of equal value. Section III. [Rentals] The owners of their respective tools ARE allowed to rent their OWN tool out to other players, but may not rent any other person's tool out to another player without the owner's permission. Doing so will be a breach of contract and will result in a $100,000 fine if the tool is recovered, or will result in the accountable liable party to owe the owner 2.2 million ECD or a tool of equal value. Any tool that is rented must also be for no longer than 7 days without permission of all liable parties due to the fact that their tools will still be up for sharing but the rented tool will be rented out for an extended period of time. Section IV. [Location] The shared chest will be located in the town of Bayview on Main North in the portal room at these coordinates: X: -6,396 Y: 29 Z: 9,961 The chest will be locked by @CP3fan1 and access must ALWAYS remain open to all liable parties or else the aggrieved party's tools will be considered misplaced and @CP3fan1 will owe all liable parties for their registered tools. Nobody else may be added to this chest without a new contract and staff approval. @CP3fan1 agrees to these terms by publishing this contract and it will go into effect upon acceptance of other members and approval by staff. Hi @CP3fan1 and @MasterNathan! There are several problems with this contract which prevent us from approving it that will need to be fixed. The principal issue lies in the second to last paragraph. Asset seizure is not something that ECC actively allows or promotes in contracts and is not something that we can enforce. We will not go adding new owners to others towns in the case of a violated contract. You will need to modify that section to come into compliance with our rules and have Nathan re-accept. In the future, If you would like to avoid these problems again, we suggest using Standard star-tool contracts, like our template available here on the forums.
