How many times did you recreate this bug?: Oh about 10-15 times
Result: I don't get alerts when I'm tagged
Expected Result: Get an alert when tagged
Evidence:
Other: I only know about this because I sometimes browse the "Recent profile posts" and see when someone tags me but not get an alert for it

Umm, yes and no, I do receive blank Meg's but there at different times at which I am tagged

Those could have been edited. If you edit a post and tag someone, it does not alert them. OR it could be one of the preferences set to receive an alert when tagged=no
